  • Why won't my Moto G (1st Gen.) update to Android 5?

I have a 1st Gen. Moto G, and every website says that Moto G's have gotten the update, but my phone doesn't have it. The update has been out for almost a year now. My Motorola Update Services and anything related is completely up-to-date. Why am I not getting the upgrade?

  • My computer keeps freezing/crashing...?

I have a computer running Windows 10. Around the end of July, I upgraded to Windows 10, and installed a new graphics card (GTX 960) and a 4GB RAM stick. Ever since then, my computer keeps freezing and crashing. I'd just be doing something like browsing the internet, or playing a game, and then the window would freeze. Then if I clicked on another window, that would freeze too, and eventually it would be completely frozen and I'd have to turn it off. Then sometimes when I start it, the OS won't load, or it just freezes right away. And since Windows 10 is still pretty new, I can't really find much about this issue yet.

    Some computer specs:

    CPU: Intel i5 Quad-Core @ 2.67GHz (Not overclocked)

    RAM: 12GB Corsair Vengeance

GPU: GeForce GTX 960 4GB (Running with 3 monitors)

    Motherboard: EVGA P55 FTW

    OS: Windows 10 Pro

Hard Drives: Well, I don't know specifics, but my primary is a 120GB SSD, secondary is a 2TB HDD, and third is like, I don't know, 300GB HDD maybe? I don't think that one is important anyway because the crash happens even if I have only my primary hard drive hooked up.

  • Convert Amazon gift card to PayPal?

I have a $40 Amazon gift card. I need to somehow get a PayPal from this card. I know you cannot convert Amazon gift card money to PayPal directly on the Amazon site, but there has to be a way to do this. If you know a way, even if it takes 50 steps, please let me know.

  • Skullcandy earbuds help?

I accidentally pulled out my skullcandy earbud piece. I detached the piece that you put in your ear that has the speaker attached to it, from the back part of it that holds that part, and has the 2 wires to connect to it.

*Not sure if that made any sense. Basically, I need to know how to reattach the green and the copper wire to the speaker of the earpiece.

  • Sparkle nVidia GeForce GTX 560 TI VS. GeForce GTX 280?

I just want to know if there is a website somewhere that compares a Sparkle nVidia GeForce GTX 560 TI and a GeForce GTX 280. I would like to know the difference in performance, and if there is a noticable difference in framerate in games.

  • PCI-E Wireless card won't work?

I just installed an Encore ENEWI1XN4 wireless card into my computer. It won't work. I have installed drivers, and Windows will not detect it for crap. I have looked in all my internet and network options, and there was not a single indication of my wireless card being in my computer at all. I tried it on 2 separate computers, both running Windows 7, and nothing works.

  • Problems with setting up a Static IP?

I am trying to set up a Static IP address for a server. I have done this before, but had to reset my modem because I forgot the password for something (Not the password to get onto the router though, I was able to port forward).

So I have portforwarded everything, and as I am setting up the static IP address, I am in the Internet Protocol Version 4 (TCP/IPv4) properties and I tell it to use the following IP address. I put in my IP for the IP address, the Subnet mask automatically fills in, and the default gateway, which for me is 192.168.0.1. Then I go into the ipconfig/all in command prompt and type in the Preferred and Alternate DNS server IPs.

This is how I have it set up:

    IP address: 192.168.0.150

    Subnet mask: 255.255.255.0

    Default Gateway: 192.168.0.1

    Preferred DNS server: 72.240.13.7

    Alternate DNS server:

    I click Validate settings upon exit, and when I exit, I get a message;

"Warning - Multiple default gateways are intended to provide redundancy to a single network (such as an intranet or the Internet). They will not function properly when the gateways are on two separate, disjoint networks (such as one on your intranet and one on the Internet). Do you want to save this configuration?"

I have done this before with absolutely no problems, got it the first time I tried, but it all got reset, so I am trying it again, and I do not have multiple gateways, so I don't know why it is saying that.

    Here is a screenshot:

    http://i1136.photobucket.com/albums/n490/Minecraft...

I have no idea what that means, and never had this problem before. What am I doing wrong and how can I fix it? I have tried ignoring it, but it just disconnects me from the internet until I run a diagnostics on it.

  • Why are my Crash Cymbals brown?

I joined my schools marching band this year, and the crash cymbals I use are... brown.

This question may be lengthly, but please stay, I really need your help!

My cymbals are Sabian, but you cannot see the logo. We just know the brand because they are exactly the same as another pair of cymbals, but the other pair looks nice and clean.

On the top side of my cymbals, they are kind of a brown color with maybe a tint of orange. Some people say it is rust, but the cymbals contain no iron, so it can't be rust, but some kind of acid. And then where the pads are on the cymbal (around the strap on the cymbal) the stuff is kinda rubbed off, so you can see a little bit of its real color, and you can see the stuff on the bottom of the pad.

on the underside, they have some of the brown-orange acid or whatever it is, but it also has some clean and very shiny parts on it (unusually shiny).

Now HERE is a VERY interesting thing to keep in mind, that may help.

While playing at a football game, we set the cymbals on the floor of the bleachers, but someone spilled lemonade on the bleachers. So when we picked up the cymbals, the part the lemonade was touching is now clean, it removed the brown-orange "acid". However, it also left a purple line on it.

Any thoughts? How to clean it, what is on it? PLEASE I would be very thankful!

  • Why won't my laptop detect my Wireless router?

When I got my laptop, it had Windows 8 on it, and well, everyone hates it... so needless to say, I downgraded [or upgraded?] to Windows 7. After installing Windows 7, and installing all drivers, my laptop will not detect ANY wireless connections, and I know there are a few around my house. I do have my own, 20 feet away from where I keep my laptop [or less]. Still won't read it. I have 2 desktop computers connected to the network via a ethernet cable, and 2 mobile devices connected wirelessly. The wifi worked on my laptop just fine in Windows 8, but not anymore since my downgrade [upgrade?].

When I go into device manager, It says the device is working properly. No yellow exclamation mark. I've tried installing the drivers multiple times. Both via Device Manager or Manually.

    Any thoughts?

  • IPod reset - help with backing up data.?

I am planning on completely clearing off and resetting my iPod Touch, but before I do, I want to know if I can back up all my photos, videos, and data (such as for games) onto my computer, then back onto my iPod after I reset it. I have 164 apps, and 3,494 photos/videos, and I would like to keep all of the data, and get it back on my ipod.

Please tell me if and how to do this.

    Thanks!

  • Windows 7 issues logging in?

So, here's what I've been doing.

I have been creating an account with command prompt on the logon screen (I hacked my computer to open command prompt instead of sticky keys when you press shift 5 times), but now, for some reason, when I create he account from the logon screen, I cannot log into it. It gives me an error message "The User Profile Service failed the logon. User profile cannot be loaded"

This has not happened to me before, and I have created plenty accounts with command prompt on the logon screen in the past.

I do not have access to the other 2 accounts right now, so I don't know if this same thing is happening to them right now. (By no access I mean I don't know the password)

Does anyone know a solution, preferably something I can do with command prompt?
