  • Best way to get from Glasgow to Isle of Iona, and what price?

I am having problems planning a trip I am trying to take to Isle of Iona, I have found that first I need to go to Oban, then to Mull, then across Mull to Iona. I need a breakdown of prices but can't find anything online. I am traveling as a foot passenger with no car, all the ferry sights I have seen only gave prices for cars.

  • Do I need a new passport if I change my legal address?

I have checked travel.state.gov and there is no mention about correcting your passport if you change legal address. So my situation is I am changing my legal address, do i need to make corrections on my passport as well? There is no where on the website that deals with this issue, if i do have to make the corrections can you send me a link to how i would go about doing this.

  • Error 815 Please help?

Ok, so I'm trying to figure this out. I'm working with a Dell Inspiron 1525 laptop with vista, when ever i try to direct connect through a dsl line it connects to the network then doesnt allow me to go online. I get error 815. There is no user name and password according to the internet service provider (who i called to make sure), and when i connect directly to other computers the connection works just fine without any passwords or account names.

I have tried turning off the wireless card to see if that had an effect on it but it did not, i still have the same issue. I tried turning the modem off connecting the wire then turning it back on and still it did not work.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

  • how to get extended stay in ireland, any links to information appreciated?

So I've been traveling Europe for the last half of year. I arrived in Ireland and had my passport stamped allowing me to stay for one month. I would like to stay for another month or two and I am able to financially do so. I was wondering how I would go about extending my stay in Ireland. I know legal requirements say I can stay up to three months, but my passport is only stamped for one. Where do I go to take care of this. I am currently in the midlands so going to the embassy in dublin is a bit inconvenient for me so if there are any alternatives that would be greatly appreciated. Please dont reply with an answer telling me to go to the embassy in dublin as you will not help me any, saying that is just as good as not replying as I will end up doing that if i dont get a sufficient answer.

Thank you in advanced I appreciate you time.

  • Best cities to work in Ireland, lowest unemployment rate?

This is the second time I've asked, I'll add more detail.

plan on moving to Ireland for a few years, just so I can have a base that I can retreat to as I travel abroad. I choose Ireland because I have visited a few times and am familiar with how things work there. However I am not sure what city to relocate too, or the one that is doing best economically in these hard times.

The idea is that I might be able to get a job to help support myself, however I do have money to support myself for my duration it would just be nice to have a bit extra income by getting a job if possible, and yes I am aware of the legal aspects of permits. 10pts to a legitimate answer, if you could give me any sites with statistical information that would be great

Here is the questions i recieved in responce and some answers

    What is your nationality?american

    What are your skills?architect graduate

What is your status?what status? i am clear to leave and enter

Do you have an occupation? no i quit to move and travel the world

    Are you studying? no

Are you traveling to Ireland under a visa?no it is not required under law for usa citizens, all you need is a passport and proof of being able to support yourself without government assistance

Are you part of the EU?no

How are you fixed financially? not any of your buisiness personally, sorry, i have enough money just know that

What age are you - (This would dictate accommodation) i already have accomidation worked out, i dont need help with this, i am an adult have been for some time

When are you planning to move to Ireland? in a few months ive been planing this for three years the only thing left is find a city and get accomidations and i already know how to handle accomidations

I already know every aspect of the legal process in what i am doing, i have reseached this for three years, and have gone through the proper legal processes to do so, i have all info i need exept what city im going to, i would prefer one that has the lowest unemployment rate, im not concered about what type of job i might get im concered about having a little extra cash in case of an emergency, thus the question!!! where are the best cities to work and where is the lowest unemployment rate

the sources for all my info are citizens information and immigration services, they cover every aspect of moving and the immigration process very well, except the best places to move too

  • Can i be extradited from a country if i default on my student loans?

I plan to move out of country after I graduate. I do not plan on skipping out of paying my student loans but I am expecting to go through some hard times in my moving transaction and may not be able to pay my student loans back right away. The country i plan to move to does have an extradition treaty with the United States. So is defaulting on my loans going to get me extradited from that country?
