  • Period on active contraceptive pills?

I am on my second packet of my contraceptive pills. I skipped my period this month because I had something on, but it appears to have just delayed it. I got my period on the active pills, and today is the 7th day. If I still have it tomorrow, I plan on visiting a GP, but I want to know if this had happened to other people.

It's driving me nuts. My periods before only used to be 4-5 days maximum.

Why do you think I got it?

  • Too tight for sex, what can I do?

I am 20, and was a virgin until recently. My boyfriend is thick and I am quite tight, so it was pretty painful. We tried twice in one night, and I bleed both times, and then again the next day and I bleed again.

I don't feel like I was tightening, except obviously as a reaction to when it became painful, which just made it worse. I was 'ready to go' too, and had a lot of lube.

What can I do to loosen things up? Any exercises? I'm sort of afraid to try again, which will only make the unintentional tightening a lot worse.

Personal experiences or info from a source would be greatly appreciated.

(And I don't need the 'wait until marriage' thing. You do what works for you, and I'll do what works for me).

    Thank you!

  • Rabbi turning away converts?

Let me start by saying: I used to be a born-again Christian, so don't tell me about Jesus.

I want to go to a MO synagogue, and I know they turn you away 3 times. When should you go back again after the Rabbi turns you away? The next day, a week?

  • MO: Jewish convert, being turned away?

Hi, I plan on visiting my local modern orthodox synagogue, as I want to begin conversion with Judaism.

I know they turn you away three times, but when they do it the first time when should I visit again? Should I visit 3 consecutive days, or visit once, and wait a few days?

    Thank you!

  • How to become an anaesthesiologist?

I am just about to complete my bachelors degree (which is in arts), and was thinking of doing a bachelor of Medicine/Bachelor of Surgery to specialise in anaesthesiology. With the intern/residency years, do you just do anaesthesia, or do you practice other medicine/surgery?

    (This is in Australia).

  • Should I write this in italics, or inverted commas? 10PTS?

I am writing a college essay, and I am referring to a law; the 'Law for the Prevention of Offspring with Hereditary Diseases'. Should I write this in inverted commas, as I have just done, or in italics. Which is grammatically correct?

    Thank you!

  • Wireless keyboard + iPad 3 problem?

I just bought a wireless keyboard (Apple brand) for my iPad, but when I type it will act as if I am holding down a key.

E.g. 'The Bolsheeeeeeviks are advantagggggeous' instead of one 'e' and one 'g'.

What is the issue, and how can I fix it?

  • What do you consider cold weather?

I'm from Australia, and we have summers that are around 40°C (104°F), and right now it's almost winter, and currently 18°C (64°F). People are wearing scarves, cardigans, and I have even seen heaps with puffer jackets and coats!

Winters in Melbourne (where I am), get to lows of 10°C (50°F) during the day, but generally sits around 14°C (57°F). Is that cold in you country?

Please state your country and what you consider hot/cold, just for funsies :)

  • Why do my hips ache? 18/YO?

    I am 18, and I am a virgin.

I am probably a little bit overweight, but I had the problem when I was in the healthy range.

I have calcium, zinc and potassium often (in the form of foods).

I have had an x-ray on my hips, but it didn't show anything, so the doctor just dismissed it.

It makes walking painful, and causes some lower back aches. I do notice it worse when it's cold. It is also impossible for me to be able to sit in the floor with crossed legs without incredible discomfort and stiffness after.

Just want an opinion, I think I will make an appointment with a different doctor or chiropractor soon.

  • What size iPad should I get?

I will be using it for university. I will need enough room to write down lecture notes, lecture recordings, and readings for 4 subjects. I can always transfer all my notes and stuff onto my computer after the semester, and delete it off the iPad for the next semester.

I will also put podcasts on there (minimum 4gb), and possibly a couple of movies/tv shows. And heaps of apps.

I was thinking a 64gb, just in case, but just wanted to get some opinions. Cheers!

  • Buy Apple products not released in my country?

So the iPad 3 is expected in US by March 7, however predictions are that it won't be released in Europe until April, so probably won't be released in Australian stores until around that time.

Is it possible to buy the iPad 3 once released online, or does it only sell to countries that it has been officially released in?

(Can anyone remember with other Apple products?)

  • iPad wireless keyboard LANGUAGE settings?

Okay, I just want to know if this is possible.

I plan on getting the iPad 3 when it comes out, which I know I can use a wireless keyboard on. I plan on getting an actual Apple one. I am getting the iPad for university, and I am learning Arabic, so I will require the ability to change between languages. Is this possible? I know I can type in Arabic on the actual iPad keys, but if I use a physical Apple keyboard, am I able to do the same?

    Thanks in advance!

  • What to wear to restaurant job trial?

The restaurant is a mexican restaurant in the suburbs of Melbourne. Not fancy.

I asked the person what I should wear, and they just said black. I have black pants, so should I wear a button up shirt or a polo shirt? I can't go in there and check what they wear because I need to buy the shirt today.

    Thanks :)
