I have to go look at a machine and want to verify the serial number when I get there. I know nothing about excavators.

I am doing a major remodel on my house,(mostly diy). The only heat in my house is hot water base board. I am changing my floor plan and adding a master bedroom and bathroom. I am using gas fireplace to heat the bedroom and would like to put underfloor heating in the bathroom. Can I plumb the underfloor heating into the boiler that is used for the baseboard heat? And since I am only putting it in one room, do I need a manifold? (there isn't one now for the baseboards, it's an old house and it seems to be one giant loop.

I need to install a disk drive in my dad's HP laptop. I've never opened up a laptop before. I've installed hardware into a desktop before, but not a laptop. Does anyone know where there is a walkthrough I can print out for installing a disk drive.

I have a second generation 20GB IPOD, and the only thing that is wrong with it is the skip track button seems to be stuck, so everytime I pick a band, it skips through all their songs and then goes back to the menu. I bought it from my brother for $150 bucks over 2 years ago, and I don't want to buy a new one. There is no Apple store any where near where I live, so will some place like Best Buy fix it, or am I just screwed?

I got to level 3 by pretty much doing nothing but being a smart@55. But I was only a smart@55 to people who ask stupid questions, like (am I pretty?) Does this make me a douche for spending too much time on YA or is it ok for me to help put stupid people in their place.

Tell me what could be changed. There is not much available already in my league. There have already been 70 something moves made by teams in my league. Is was supposed to be casual

My dog was diagnosed yesterday with retinal detachement in both eyes. The opthamalogist believes that it is immune mediated, and said can be treated and possibly cured with cortizone tablets. They still want me to get hundreds of dollars worth of bloodwork done, and I can't afford it. The blindness is his only symptom, and there was no hemmoraging in the eye. If I can't afford to have him treated for anything else anyway. Doesn't it make sense to try the cortizone, and see if we can save his vision? Will cortizone have any adverse affects if it is something like rocky mountain fever, or a fungal infection?

I got student loans to attend Junior College 2 years ago. I talked to somebody on the phone about paying them off right after I finished school in Jan of 06. They told me that I needed to start making payments in Aug 07 because thats when interest would start accruing. I have since lost their number and they have not sent me anything in the mail ever. I don't even know who I owe the money to. How can I pay them back?

My dog isn't that old, he is only 4. He is an American Pitbull Terrier. Lately he seems to be having trouble seeing. He can't see toys when someone is holding them right in front of his face (about 4 feet or so). He didn't recognize me coming in the door the other day. Instead of catching his ball, he has been ducking his head and avoiding it. Could I be imagining things, or is this serious? I thought I was paranoid, but my brother recognized it without me saying anything about it. I can't afford a whole lot, but if it's serious I'll do whatever I have to. Please give me suggestions.

I bought a refurbished dell with a dvd drive, but it won't play dvd's through media player. Do I need a program for this. I don't want to pay for one.
