6 AnswersPolls & Surveys7 years agoLooking for a new manga like one piece, but without as much fanservice, any suggestions?
I've developed a sort of love-hate relationship with one piece, especially since the timeskip, as the female characters have all gotten a makeover that seems to promote maximum fanservice, but almost every other aspect of the series is still too good for me to drop it entirely.
This is especially upsetting as one of the things that drew me to it initially was the way the female characters were often given key roles in the plot, and while often not as strong as the male characters, they were often shown as more competent than the male characters, and actually had a purpose beyond the common "fanservice and/or DID/ Love interest" that is all too common in manga/anime (IMO)

2 AnswersSTDs7 years agoOkay seriously, are there ANY fantasy card battle game Apps for Android that don't have fanservice?
Preferably with good artwork, strategy, and rpg elements, but after searching appcrawler for half an hour with no luck, I'll take what I can get.
2 AnswersVideo & Online Games7 years agoAre there any apps like elemental kingdoms, but with less fanservice?
I tried it to earn points, and Elemental kingdoms looks like the kind of thing I'm looking for, but there's WAAY too much fanservice for me.
The genre is "RPG card game"
1 AnswerVideo & Online Games7 years agolooking for a good, STRONG knot (better than dropper loop) for making a multi-hook leader?
maybe a terminal tackle knot that can take a load on the tag end too?
I tried using a palomar tied to a swivel for the branch and continuing the leader on the tag end, but apparently this is a very weak way to use the palomar, because the tag end broke off when I tried to tighten on the hook and I was using 60 pound test...

4 AnswersSoftware8 years agolooking for a chicken variety...?
I'm looking for a suitable chicken variety for the backyard.
Ideally the chicken would be at least 8 pounds (the bigger the better), and have utilitarian use too.
Egg laying ability is more important than meat quality, because I have the feeling I'm gonna get attached to them.
Personality wise, I would like them to be non aggressive but confident and not easily startled, and I'm sure the neighbors would appreciate it if I got one that doesn't roam, rarely or never flies, and doesn't make much noise.
Thank you in advance.
1 AnswerBirds8 years agoDiy shed floor advice?
I'm making a 16'X24' shed and I need some advice for the floor joists and beams.
(All lumber will be ground-contact treated southern pine, probably grade 2)
I'm thinking of making 3/4 inch pressure-treated plywood floor on 2X8 joists spaced 16" apart with a 7'9" span, supported by 16' 4X8 beams spaced 8 feet apart, which would in turn be supported by 1 foot wide square concrete pillars set 2 feet in the ground at the ends and middle of the beams for a beam span of 8 feet.
Would this be keep the floor from sagging?
Not enough?
Overkill?
The heaviest single objects will be a large generator, and a large bookshelf full of books, although I may get a riding mower later.

2 AnswersGarden & Landscape8 years agowhat are the pros and cons of growing squash on a trellis?
Also, what varieties have more heat tolerance (routinely upper 90s, occasoinal 100s)
and what varieties turn the fastest from green to an attractive color?
(for ornamental purpouses)
3 AnswersGarden & Landscape8 years agoLooking for heat-tolerant pole peas or beans with showy blooms?
I was going to use scarlet runner beans, but just found out they don't like heat
(it hits the upper 90s pretty regularly in the summer here, sometmes in the 100s)
Also, I'm interested any other heat and humidity tolerant vegetables with ornamental qualities to kind of make front yard veggie garden look prettier
(It's too shady in the backyard to grow veggies)

Can they use a crescent style starling resistant entry hole, like purple martins?

4 AnswersGarden & Landscape9 years agoWhat are the eariliest blooming daffodil varieties (to use in a lawn)?
I want to naturalize some in the lawn, along with star flower and grape hyacinth, but I want them to be finished blooming about a month before the grass starts growing so that I can mow them without killing the plants.
also, varieties with thin leaves would be preferred so that they would not stand out as much while the leaves are dying back
4 AnswersGarden & Landscape9 years agoCan somebody list these plants in order of sun requirements please?
Daffodil
Dutch Iris
Crocus
Grape hyacith (muscari americanum)
