She's immature, and wants this because she says she finds the northeast, where she lives, "boring", and has been invited to live with a friend she has known on Myspace since she was about 12 or 13. This girl needs the income of another person and my daughter will be the 3rd party. One of this other girl's" jobs" has been ****. They will rent a house together. My daughter has never met this girl in person, only online (and webcams). Naturally I am concerned about the safety of my daughter living with people she's only met online, and also being so far from family. I can only imagine bad things happening to her because of the way she is (she does not work but gets gov't help for her condition). How can I help her? I feel I should stop her--but if I try this it will only make her rebel and move faster.

My driveway is next to some grass, and I found out through a man who came to measure for a fence I am putting up that is between my driveway and her property. Looking at my survey, he noted that there are sprinklers on the edge of my property on the grass (my land extends to about a foot onto the grass). This woman doesn t speak to me. I intend to build a fence to separate her property and mine. If she complains, I have my survey. I also need it because she s always walking on my driveway to get to her backyard instead of going through her own property. I have called the city hall to talk about this and they said I would need to tell her. What would you do? This woman has been nasty to me, and I dont want to talk to her about it.

I had spoken to them about this last year, and the fact that they cannot do this on my driveway. Her backyard is adjacent to my driveway and it goes all the way back. They take their lawnmowers and drive them on my driveway where there is a gap in bushes there. She doesnt speak to me anymore since I told her this last year, and my daughter who was home said they were at it again. Should I build a fence to end this or just tell them again?

Are winters are severe there as in the north?

Are they shy, quiet, like their privacy, etc.? Is there a real difference between the northerners and southerners?

I didn t attend her wedding in Europe and she has now had a baby. Couldnt send her a check as American checks re not accepted. Her monm is going there now and I told her I can send her a check now.

But I don't know about the different towns and which would be best for me when I retire. I like museums, arts, films, etc, but I also like safety and affordability.
