thanks. seems an odd thing to do but i'm sick of the ruminations going on in my head.. an honest answer would be appreciated. i'm 17.

I do what comes naturally, and I find I take the "man" role in the relationship. However, I've noticed that a lot of people kind of force roles due to expectation? I believe in equal, respectful relationships but I believe that you should also celebrate each other's gender differences (within reason... really macho guys, or women who think they should be chained to the kitchen sink, just make me kind of depressed. It seems a narrow-minded way of looking at the world).

I have to be doubt-free in my mind. I do this by letting myself doubt nothing.

I also keep a positive attitude, eat healthily, engage my brain, excercise every day, and have a healthy social life.

However, I've been through a lot so I still feel quite depressed and anxious often. I use mindfulness in order to seperate my depressed and anxious thoughts from my sane ones but it's difficult sometimes. I've never had hang-ups but I'm developing the tendency to get them which is worrying. Luckily I know how to lose them as well- I accept and forgive every time one turns up.

Even though I'm good at those kinds of things it brings me little joy because this is caused by the fact that I feel "built on matchsticks": my psychology feels very fragile. Is there a way to be less acutely self aware, aside from just thinking less about myself? I've gotten to a level of trust in myself now where I think that may be possible.

It started about half 9, i felt very tired and a bit nauseous so i decided to have a little sleep. I woke up an hour later, feeling even sicker and decided to go to bed and bring up a drink of water and a bowl with me. I was sick all night, with a lot of diarrhoea, ending about 5 in the morning when i could finally get to sleep. I felt nauseous, delirious (I've never been delirious before in case of sickness) and i had bad stomach cramps. I've never felt as intensely sick before. Could it have been food poisoning? I ate rare beef. It wasn't too rare though, and my mum ate it too- she was fine.

She had sex at that point but didn't find out until two weeks later. She said she wasn't even interested in sex at that point. It's made her feel violated, insecure and needy.

She had a drink problem at that point and had sex with 6 different guys over the next year- which she all came to regret. I believe she was taken advantage of completely, but she has the view that she was "a bit", but only a bit. I think she's in denial though, mostly for the reason that she can't remember any of it and she regrets it all, to the point of developing an eating disorder.

I'm stronger than her by a fair bit but she's petite (although deceptively strong for her size).

I'm pretty skinny though. For some reason she thinks I'm muscular. Why would that be?

I think it's about what you have to do when you're being emotionally abused- fight back and turn into an abuser yourself, or be crushed.

Our relationship has basically turned into a power trip, because we're both completely nuts (I for one should be on anti-psychotics and anti-depressants).

Is this what she's trying to communicate? I can tell from the way she's playing it she's trying to say something.

She's lost faith in me so it's impossible for me to change for the better while I'm with her, but to keep her I need to show her I've changed, to get her faith back.

We're perfect for each other, and our love is the deepest and most connected I think I'll ever feel.

I remember being with my first love and finding it hard to tell her I loved her (I was 15). My people skills were terrible too.

My girlfriend went to Amsterdam about 6 months ago and she had this drink, kind of like a thick milkshake, which you could buy in a huge carton. It was called something like "fla".

I want to find it for her as a present... It would have to be on the internet because I'm not flying over just for milkshake..
