Why do people believe in religion? How do they back it up with evidence not from the bible? How do you explain all of the scientific evidence that pretty much disproves religious happenings? I have a large prickly pear cactus and I havent looked at it really until now. I noticed that on many of the"arms" there are medium sized dots. The ones closer to the center are white with outrage outline and the ones father from the center are all orange. Also near the top one branch has a layer of white dead looking skin and small yellowy bubbles. What is wrong and can i fix it?

Yesterday my brother cut off the arm off or prickly pear cactus and stabbed it three times with a small garden shovel. How can I make the holes heal faster? Would rubbing alcohol help at all?
