I've got an ATT plan with unlimited messaging and a rather basic phone. I can add unlimited data (non smartphone) for $10/month. Kind of pointless with this handset.

Google is about to release a new Nexus 7 with unlocked GSM and HSPA+ 21. Can I add $10 data to my plan, stick the sim in a Nexus 7 and end up with reasonable unlimited data? Or does ATT have some way to identify the handset and require a smartphone data plan?

I understand the Nexus 7 will not provide true 4G, which isn't an issue for my purposes.

Former President Carter has just endorsed the re-election of Barack Obama. Will that make you more inclined to re-elect the President?

When Hugo Chavez ran for President of Venezuela he promised to tax the rich and the rich corporations to spread the wealth to the common man.

All corporate income was seized by the government. That wasn't enough so Chavez accused them of hiding the income and nationalized many industries.

Unemployment is skyrocketing.

Inflation is rampant and the currency is worthless.

Food is scarce.

Oil production is down because everyone that knows how to run an oil business either left the country or is in jail.

College education is free.

Health care is free.

Since Obama has a Harvard law degree will he be able to break the laws of economics? Or is he doomed to failure too?

Bill Clinton ran on a promise of middle class tax cuts. Shortly after the inauguration he announced that things were even worse (budget wise) than he imagined and he'd be unable to keep his tax cut promise.

With the support of the Democratic congress he went on to pass tax increases, including on the middle tax. This paved the way for Republicans to take control of the House in 1994.

The Federal budget is in much worse shape now than it was in 1992. Will Obama renege on his tax cut promise too?

I was in the McCain camp, but after seeing the debate I realize that Obama now agrees with him on everything. So, since there is no real difference I'll be voting for the tall, good looking guy.

I keep seeing in the media and YA that Sarah Palin is holding an AK-47 in that picture that has been on the net.

That's definitely not an automatic weapon. Pump action. Light weight scope. I'm thinking it's a 22 cal. pump action rifle. Anyone know the model for sure?

A common sentiment from the Democrats seems to be that if something happens to McCain, Sarah Palin doesn't have the experience to be president.

So is the Democratic plan to vote for Obama and hope that Biden has to step up so someone with "experience" is in the oval office?

Every time he's run for the Democratic nomination (I've lost track) he gets blown out early. The current election I believe he even lost to the guy that gets visited by UFOs.

Why do you now think he's a "brilliant choice" for VP on the Obama ticket?
