  • Could the Planet of the Apes scenario really happen?

I started watching Planet of the Apes, and also the Rise and Dawn of the Planet of the Apes. It got me thinking as to if something like that could really happen... I m really scared now and can t sleep thinking that tomorrow I could wake up and the world could be over run by Apes. Does the government have a plan in case something like this were to happen? I don t want to be killed or taken slave by the apes. I m sorry if this is a stupid question, I m just really scared about what could happen...

  • Google Adsense?

Hi! I recently signed up for Google Adsense, but my ad revenue has slowed down significantly... I just put the ads up 3 days ago. On the first day, I got an "estimated" $3.17. On day 2, I created a few more pages, and I put ads on each page. I got $0.83 on day 2. Day 3- I put even more ads on the pages, and only got $0.01... I had about 300 views on day one, 150 on day 2, and 110 on day 3...

    Why doesn't this add up?

    Thank You!

  • Update an APK through the play store?

    https://www.robinhood.com/

Robinhood is an new company, and they recently started an android beta version. You can only use the app if you are invited, and some people (like me) will be waiting months for it.

I didn't want to wait for the invite, so I found the APK and downloaded it to my phone.

The issue I'm having is that after I download the APK, I can't update it.. I go into the play store, and it's not listed under "my apps". How can I update the app??

Thank you for any help you can provide!!

  • Seat Belts won't retract!!?

I recently replaced the headliner in my 1999 Saturn SL1. After replacing the headliner and putting everything back together, the driver and passenger side seat belts won't retract. I did take the siding trim off (so I could replace the healiner), and after putting it back on, they won't retract... Any thoughts or suggestions? Thank you!

  • How to ship cheapest!?

Hi! I'm shipping items using Amazon. I'm selling a product for $5 with free shipping. I can get the product for under $1, but the shipping is killing me which costs about $2.50 (I always ship with tracking, so I know it got to its location and when).

    Here's my cost breakdown:

    item: $0.95

    shipping envelope: $0.30

    shipping cost: $2.50

In the end, I make about $1.25 in profit. Any suggestions on how to get my prices down, especially the shipping? Is there anyway?

Thank you in advance, I will reward points!

  • Provision for Income Taxes?

A company I invest in recently had a large Provision for Income Tax (benefit) of $14 million.

What exactly does that mean? Is it just a deduction or will the company get that back in cash?

    Thank you for your answer!

  • How do I file?

I'm 18, I live with my parents (they claim me as a depedent), and I went to college last year. I paid for one semester, and they paid for the other.

Can we split this up, or would my parents claim it or do I?

What's the best way to do this.

  • I'm 18, currently have about $1,000 in an Optionshouse ROTH IRA.?

    I currently save $5 a week, or $20 a month.

Should I do this, save up throughout the year, and invest the $260 in a stock at the end of the year?

    OR

should I buy stock directly? I think there are some stocks that don't have any fees or minimums to buy shares. Is that true? Say I buy stock directly, what taxes would I pay? I make under $10,000 a year. I'm also a college student.

What would make most sense moneywise?

Also, do you have any stock recomendations if I were to buy it directly?

Thank you, I will give out points to best answer!

  • I want to retire early, but...?

So I'm young, and my goal is to retire at 50. Right now, I have a roth IRA, but I'm thinking, if I want to retire early, is it best to have a roth?

If I retire at 50, and since I have a roth, I'm going to pay taxes before and after I take out my money.

So my question, if I'm to retire at 50,is it best to have a roth? Should I use a traditional? And how about my 401K (when my job offers one)? What's the best way to keep the most of my money possible?

    Thank you!

  • So I'm 18, have about $1,000 in stock, and I'm wondering what my investment strategy should be?

I've heard from some that since I'm so young, I don't need to take the risk that others may need to take.

Should I just invest in blue-chips like JNJ, CSCO, CL, etc? Or should I do some higher risk investing like STAG, PBA, etc.?

I will say, I like risk, and since I'm young, I want to take it, but my question is, is it really worth taking the risk?

Any advice on an investment strategy would be great! Thank you in advance!

  • Unlimited Texting: But not paying for it?

Starting new cell service and only have 400 texts. I had unlimited before and I want to save money. Once I hit my limit, is there an app I can use instead, that does count as any texts, but I want the number people see to be my cell number. So I do not want apps like textplus that give you some random number! Thanks and I look forward to your suggestions!

"Use the second derivative and a sign diagram to determine the intervals on which the graph of f(x)= x^2 + Ln(x) is concave upward or concave downward (use interval notation) and state the point of inflection (x,y) (you may approximate to the nearest hundredth if desired). Keep in mind that the domain of f is (0,infinity)"
