2 AnswersWords & Wordplay7 years agoSexual Relationship both Married, Over age 35. Longtime Friends as well.?
OK, this is a bit strange I know. But details:
Me: Late 30's
Him: Early 40's
Married/Both
Known each other for 15 years
Have had Phone Sex hundreds of times starting late 90s
Sex Twice
Email sexual content tons of times a week
Ok. Morally I know it's not right, so please understand I do get that. But, I have a very werid question.
So we talk sometimes daily via email. Lots of back and forth naughty talk. Going on years. So there is a high degree of sexual tension.
Today. I asked a simple, SILLY question to him:
"On a scale of 1-10, how badly do you want to have sex at least one more time, honestly? and anything under a 9 will make me sad"
Ok so there was a very silly, light-hearted question. Keep in mind we both have wanted sexual relations again.
His answer: "I guess a 9 is fitting....lol"
My response: "Geesh, thanks for the positive reassurement"
His response: Ignored that
Me: blah blah blah, wrote him this and that and then said :"ps: where did the extra point go on the scale, another woman? hahahaha, you played it safe by not giving me sorrow with the 9. Which leaves me wondering what I really was rated at... haha" I also mentioned about meeting in a hotel in that email.
Him: no response yet
Now for your outside observation. I thought it was a silly question, but now, I think I am rather hurt by the answer. Why when you talk so sexually to one another, and about having sex all the time, are friends for over 15 years too...would you just not say 10 to enlighten the person? Just come back with a 10 to make the person happy, right? My thought now is, why would I want to give it up when I am only a 9 in regards to wanting to have sex again? I can't believe I am actually sad over this when I was being silly and was so certain he would come back with a 10. What do you all feel if you were in my place regarding this? Just honestly. Would you step back and actually be hurt by that? Would you even want to have sex again with them? Even though he was LOL'g at their own reply with the '9'.....I kind of think it's hurtful. Thoughts, please?
What did he mean about the "I guess a 9 is fitting" part????
4 AnswersSingles & Dating8 years agoMy 14yr old cat is out of it today?
My 14yr old cat seems sick today. He normally is great. He follows me everywhere, purrs and rolls over, eats fine, drinks fine, happy cat! But today. He through up (nothing unusual with either of our cats) and then threw up again. That was this morning. No big deal I thought. However this time, he just wants to rest. He hit in a corner behind the couch, went into the sink in the bathroom, tried to get up the stairs. Stopped three steps up and laid down. 20mins later went up three more steps and laid down. He isn't responsive like his cheery self when I call his name. He normally loves when I brush him so I tried to tempt him with that and nothing. My Husband went up to bed and carried him from the stairs and put him on our bed. He jumped down, I then proceeded to pick him up on our sink to get him to drink (he likes the sink faucet) and I cupped my hands and he did drink but then went and curled up in the other sink again (we have double sinks in there) - Also earlier for the FIRST time ever, I saw him walk to the litter box (it's clean) and we have a mat outside the box, and he sat on the mat and pooped. My Husband said diarrhea. He NEVER goes out of the box. Why did he do that??? He looked weak. He just walked up to the box. Smelled the mat (no idea why) and went poop. I will definitely take him to the vet if he does not improve...but what could this be? A bug? I have not seen him eat today. I change their food everyday - they get dry food all the time and 2 small packets of wet cat food. I even changed it twice thinking it was a bad batch. Our other cat did throw up earlier but he ate too fast. He is fine.
6 AnswersCats10 years agoBaby raccons tail touched my hand...?
I just put out some food ( i know not a good idea, but we do it) for a mom and baby raccoons since they are starving in this hurricane up here. They are usually friendly...not that we ever touch them. However this time, as I put out some food, my son said "that baby's tail touched the back of your hand" I didn't even feel it. He said it was about 2" inches of the tail. Is it ok? Am I going to be alright? I realize it's not a good idea to feed them, but with that aside, will the tail touching my hand harm me? I did wash my hands. Will I ever be able to touch my face with the back of my hand again? Should I go to the hospital for shots? Thanks!
3 AnswersRodents10 years agoCan cats get rabies if they had water from raccoons water bowl?
So we feed baby raccoons on the deck. They also have a waterbowl that they drink out of and clean their feet with. Yes, it's not the best idea but they beg for food especially in the winter with snow. So anyway it's a beautiful day and I opened the sliding glass door and kept the screen closed. One of our cats pawed it open. I got up from sitting down and noticed that both of our cats were on the deck. (they are inside cats but we only let them on the deck supervised and that's not often) so I don't know if our cats took a sip from the waterbowl!!! IF the raccoons have rabies - we don't think so because they are babies - well one isn't. Can they get it? :( I am petrified - I didn't see them drink from it when I caught them on the deck..but I am now worried if they did.
5 AnswersZoology1 decade agoCan an EX wife file for EX Husband's Social Security before he files?
Hi.
My Mother, 63, is divorced from my stepfather. She is currently collecting SS on my biological father's SS. I believe she said that if her EX (My stepfather) is getting more on his (he will get full max at 2500.00) she can switch to his instead of my bio fathers. My question is, he (stepfather) hasn't filed and may not until he is 62 (he is 61 I believe) - can my Mother file NOW on his - even if he hasn't filed himself?
The state is NJ - not that it matters.
Thanks~!
3 AnswersMarriage & Divorce1 decade agoPassing of my Best Friend?
My Best Friend just passed yesterday. I am having a hard time. She was so young (43) - I am 36 and finding it difficult no matter whom tries to lift my spirits, it is hard to accept. I have been a complete wreck. Knowing I will never see her, talk to her or hug her again. being young myself, I can't process the thought of never sharing her the rest of my lifes pains, happiness, struggles, faults and joys. I have friends, but nothing like the very deep friendship I had with my best friend. She is the one I told everything to, my most personal issues. The one that has supported me and vice versa. The friends I have are just ones that I go to lunch with or some outings with now and then. Nothing of a deep deep friendship. How do I function in my mind after losing such a person in my life? I feel like I have nobody. Yes, a husband a Son, family (supportive too) but not my best friend. If you have lost a best friend and understand this can you please give me some support in how you managed to move forward? Thank you.
3 AnswersFriends1 decade agoGovernment Jobs and Health Insurance?
If you seek a federal government position, is healthcare provided at 100% or do you have to pay a percentage every month towards a particular plan. We pay 419.00 for our plan (myself, husband and son) and wondering how much we might save if he goes directly to the gov't for work. Right now he is a contractor that works for the gov't...so we have to pay for our HI. I know when he was in the military we had tricare and nothing was out of pocket.

Why do I want to vomit when I eat someone's cooking?
I have never figured this out. At 36, for the longest time (mainly two decades) I cannot eat anything someone cooks unless I cook it myself. Or my family (i.e Husband, Mother, Aunt etc) it's not that I think I will be poisoned (seriously) - it's something else. I just want to puke. For example my employer whom I work out of her home, made chicken...as I was leaving she said try it..it's delicious. Feeling as if I should, I put a piece in my mouth and couldn't swallow it. I smushed it up and packed it into my cheeks to not show I wanted to throw it up. I then left and when I got to my car I spit it up and was gagging. What the hell is wrong with me? Why can't I eat/enjoy someone's cooking? It's not as if I think it will taste bad. I just can't allow myself to get that far. I always refuse someone's offerings if someone makes something. Except my family. Help me get over this and what is the root of the issue? Again, it's NOT that I think someone will poison me lol. It completely has nothing to do with that. Why do I want to gag it up so badly? I can't find a proper catagory for this lol. (mental health maybe?)

3 AnswersGovernment & Non-Profit1 decade agowhat is going on with my skin (dents)?
am getting so upset and frustrated. I do have health issues. Epilepsy, Psoriasis, Borderline Diabetic (taking Metformin) and while I do have psoriasis for the past 6 years, recently VERY recently I am noticing these round (circular) indents popping up here and there. They rainge from about the size of a pencil tip to a pea. It looks like the first layer of skin is gone. It's indented and not going away. In fact it seems as though I notice a few more every day. My main Dermatologist is on maternity leave so I have been seeing another one for a nodule that popped up and was removed. The nodule came back as POSSIBLE churg-strauss systemic vasculitis with an underlying cause of Lupus or Rheumatoid Arthritis...so off he sent me to a Rheumo who did xrays and bloodwork and negative. Anyway, so this dermatologist has NO idea what it is (these indents) I am about to lose my mind and cry. It seems I spot more and more everyday What is going on? Here are some pics. I took one on my forearm, one on my leg and one on my finger for example. I hope it shows up ok in the pictures. SORRY the pics may take time to load.

3 AnswersSkin Conditions1 decade agoIs this Skin Mole Melanoma?
noticed this thing on my inner thigh. I have psoriasis and I know this is not a placque. It stands out. It's like a deep brown color. I never noticed it before but then again, I don't look at the inside of my thighs much so I don't know if it's been there for awhile. What does it look like? Melanoma? It's not symetrical and does have a raised mushy feel to a bit of it. It's about the size of maybe a pea. Hope you can make it out in the jungle :) 3 pics below.
Thanks

2 AnswersSkin Conditions1 decade agoWhy does our cat lick everything?
We have two cats. One I have had since he was a kitten, now 14. The other we got at age 1+1/2 yrs in 2003. Since we got him, he licks everything in sight. We laughed it off and never really questioned it other than he is wacky. But seriously. He loves to lick plastic shopping bags. When I come home from the store and put the bags on the counter, he jumps up and starts going at it. He loves to lick and EAT toilet paper. We have four bathrooms in our home and at any given moment there is a stream of toilet paper all mashed up and licked at in every bathroom. He unrolls it and bites it off while licking. We stopped keeping toilet paper on the holder as it's pointless lol..we often just tear off a few sheets and throw it and he runs to get it and licks and eats it, so that we can use the potty in private lol. He loves to lick it and I thought that was a far as it went until one day I actually watched him and he indeeds eats it. He loves to lick the inside of my husband sock drawer. He loves to lick the underneath of a wood bench we have, he licks scotch tape, he licks carboard boxes, he licks paper, he licks, cans of soda (can itself, not soda), he licks the counters and on and on. It's whatever is in his path, he licks. Most of all he licks US! Of course we love that since it's so affectionate but what is going on with this chubby lil' guy we have? My Husband said once a long time back he heard something about it being that he wasn't 'weened' enough as a kitten, or he just loves the texture of things. What gives? We adore him to pieces and spoil him rotten, but we still question this behavior. Input? FYI: Our other cat licks nothing.
4 AnswersCats1 decade agoIs it ok to put tape over outlets?
We had a crazy ant situation this summer. They seemed to have been entering through the outlets in the kitchen. I stalked them out and noticed that's where they were coming from. I put packing (clear) tape all over the outlet holes and around the plate and it worked well for a month. Well two days ago my Hubby said it was time to take the tape off. Well low and behold the little guys started coming out again. (we have sprayed btw which never seemed to work) I never thought to ask if regular scotch tape or packing tape is ok to put over outlets. Obviously it was ok for the month that it was there but I am curious....is it really ok?
4 AnswersMaintenance & Repairs1 decade agoRaccoons - Question about Rabies?
We feed 3 raccons (I know we should stop!) I'm so angry!!! One of the babies (or small raccoon) was playing with marbles that were part of the wind chimes and I guess he thought it was food. He kept putting it in his mouth, chewing and spitting it out. He tried that a few times. So I told my husband that he was going to choke. He goes outside and picks up the damn things and throws them out. They were in the raccoons mouth! I was fuming! He said "i'll wash my hands" but I was still angry. He said he already had his rabies shot. how stupid is he? I would have swept them off the deck. Do I need to worry now since they were in the raccoons mouth? My Husband is in EH&S for 18 years and I would have thought he was smarter! Help!
5 AnswersZoology1 decade agoNeed help with a lamp post part (name of it)?
Hi. Today., I came home to find a piece of our outdoor lamp post on the grass. It seemed to have just snapped part of it. I didn't touch it but told my Husband about it and when he came home he went to pick it up and said it's just plastic. Anyway., I guess I need to replace it. But I have no idea what it's called. It's black with two brass balls on either side of the bar. It's something that I guess you can hang plants on..or a banner. Here is a picture of an example of it. It looks fairly similar to this one:

1 AnswerMaintenance & Repairs1 decade agoIf Jupiter falls to earth...would it smash our entire planet or just a portion?
Silly question. But I am fascinated with astronomy. Every nite when I go outside I can see Jupiter and/or Venus. They seem to be piggy backing off each other so basically from my eye, I see one big star - when in reality they are both at the same point (according to google sky) - so it got me thinking. If Jupiter were to crash into us (I know random, and never likely) - since it is larger than earth - would it crush us to pieces? What if it snips us at the corner? What would be the outcome of our planet? I know. Ridiculous in theory - but what if?
11 AnswersAstronomy & Space1 decade agowhat does it mean when a doctor says this?
what is my doctor implying? I received an email from her (we email often) after I had some bloodwork done and she was checking my report on many things but most importantly was my sugar. I have been taking the medication as prescribed, but this worries me that she thinks I was not. I realize my sugar level may not be at the point that she wants it, but why presume I am not following the orders? I tried to read what she meant, but am confused. Does she think that the meds are working by reviewing the paperwork, or does she doubt I am taking it as directed?
Thanks
Here is the email:
Some of your lab reports are in which makes me wonder you have been taking Metformin as directed.
Will let you know when all labs are finalized and set up an appointment accordingly.
