When does faith become reality?
9 AnswersReligion & Spirituality5 years agowhen a little boy or girl is tortured and murdered, or a person dies a slow death because of sicness?
How can people possibly say god wanted it that way?
6 AnswersReligion & Spirituality6 years agoWhy does it make sense to those who believe in afterlife, that there actually is one?
Is it only the idea that a book gives that there is one. without that book would there still be a need for an afterlife?
5 AnswersReligion & Spirituality6 years agoAre we humans actually just sophisticated robots?
When I try to understand what me is,. I find all I can come up with is I am a result of my beliefs and thoughts. There is nothngI can hold on to or that is tangebal, it is always just thoughts.
I am not saying that is a bad thing, but it does mean (if true) the only control we have on ourselves is what our beliefs limit us to.
Our thoughts are only the results of our beliefs.

3 AnswersPsychology6 years agoDoes a god make sense?
Let's say there is a god. This god according to the bible is everywhere, knows all, and can do everything.
Let's look at the universe and what where we earthlings live. We live on a small planet and almost nonexistent if you compare our planet's size to the rest of the universe.
Now we human are also very small yet some how we are told to believe that this god who is everywhere and knows everything.
Decided to have a son which is tortured and crucified, and we are told god felt so horribly sad.
How do folks rationalize that a god as great as our god is supposed to be would actually care as much as the bible says he cared.
Thanks for any answers
14 AnswersReligion & Spirituality7 years agoWould you say believers in god know more about the unknown than those who don't believe in god?
If so pleasse tell why you believe that way thanks
9 AnswersReligion & Spirituality7 years agoIs it logical to assume there is no god?
13 AnswersReligion & Spirituality7 years agoWhy is it that most people seem to need the idea that we were created by a god?
If you use logic it rules out the idea of a god. There is no room in logic for magic. What logic does do is provide us with any evidence we do have. And that evidence shows us that (We just don't know how we got here).
Only when you insert magic into the equation is when the idea of a god can come into play.

5 AnswersReligion & Spirituality7 years agoWhy has the feeling about god changed so much down through the years?
Years ago it seemed like he was almost a tyrant but now days god can only be good to us.
It seems the fear of god is no more.
What do you think?
7 AnswersReligion & Spirituality7 years agoCan any of you Christians or religious folks tell me how you make yourself believe in god?
It is one thing to believe in the possibility that there could be a god. But when you already understand that you don't know if there is or isn't a god, the only belief you have about god is there could be one.
Reading the bible certainly doesn't help change that belief.
When a person knows for fact they don't know if there is or isn't a god existing then they know this because they know god is a belief and so is life happening on its own is a belief. So what is left but the knowing for fact they don't know if there is or isn't a god existing

19 AnswersReligion & Spirituality8 years agoIf I don't know if there is or isn't a god, If there is one and if that god is a good god?
wouldn't he understand why I am not sure if he exists or not?
And when judgement day comes wouldn't he see that when he resurrects me that I would at that point in time know he exists?
Why would he send people to hell or zap them out of existence just because they don't know if he exists or not?
What kind of a god would do such a thing?
13 AnswersReligion & Spirituality8 years agoWhich god should I follow, the god of the OT or the god of the NT?
It seems funny how the bible says god never changes. But when we read the bible we find out that is very far from the truth.
Do people understand that?
20 AnswersReligion & Spirituality8 years agoWhy does the bible say its god is a loving god when that god created spiders to bite and poison insects,?
reptiles and even mammals, After the bite the poison paralyzes them and then while in extreme pain the poison slowly dissolves the insides of their prey so they can suck it up through their fangs.
Also this same god created Hyenas to start eating their prey while it is still alive.
It is ridiculous to think animals do not think and that even insects don't think to a certain extent.
So what ever keeps insects, reptiles, birds, fish, animals, etc alive also keeps us alive. If we have a spirit so do they.
Where is the love from the bible's god for all those living things that kill and eat other living things?
