If I don't know if there is or isn't a god, If there is one and if that god is a good god?

wouldn't he understand why I am not sure if he exists or not?

And when judgement day comes wouldn't he see that when he resurrects me that I would at that point in time know he exists?

Why would he send people to hell or zap them out of existence just because they don't know if he exists or not?

What kind of a god would do such a thing?

If you don't see resurrected people on a daily basis, you have the right to question existence of any god.

If there is one judgement day, why did some religious people hold signs saying "Judgement Day is Nigh" in year 2000 (believing the number is the end)...when it did not happen if their god(s) talked to them with the truth?

Why did some priests jail Galileo (this is actually world history) when he tries to prove the world was round?

...to answer you, I have no idea if there is a god or not. Still waiting for the believers to convince me by arranging a lunch with the guy or something solid.

Sometimes a person's view of God depends on what point they are at in their life. When everything is going well a person finds God obtrusive and cruel. But when a person is at the end of their rope, they have nothing left and they know they have ruined their lives and the only thing that waits them is misery and perhaps the nagging feeling that this misery will continue on into eternity, God starts to look much more friendly. In fact He becomes your only choice. He's the only one that can help you. At this point you are left with 2 options. Ask for forgiveness and salvation, or stubbornly refuse His help.

The True God DOESN'T do such a thing. Each is judged individually according to his own knowledge. Until a person knows that there is a God, it is not possible for him to choose whether to obey Him or not. That is the only basis for judgment. Each is judged by his own words.

Yes he does understand. God does not send people to hell for not knowing if he exists or not.

Well, our God is a loving God.

With being christian, we want all of you to be saved from going to Hell.

God sent his son to die for the sin of the world.

This means that God sent his Son down to earth who was put up on the cross bearing the sins of people.

To become a christian, when we pray we ask for forgiveness of our sins, and God forgives us.

No matter, how bad the thing you have done, he will forgive you as long as you ask.

He wouldn't send people to Hell, he's trying to save them from going there.

I hope you will make the right choice, God bless :)

Your view of things isn't completely correct. God gives all of us the freewill (choice) to seek Him and to read about Him in the bible etc... He knows if someone has never heard of Him, or never seen or heard of the bible, or if they have and they choose not to read it or choose not to seek Him. Just because you are unsure, doesn't make God mad at you, He knows exactly what you are thinking and feeling. He knows you are here right now, asking about this. He's probably very happy about it, because it shows you care enough about Him to seek Him. If you feel unsure, then rather than stop and "hope" it is all good in the end and look for excuses so you can stop seeking Him, learn more by reading the bible and pray to Him. Prayer is like talking to a friend. "God are you there? If you are, help me to know this. Come into my life." Then, believe in your heart that if He is there, He will answer you. And watch for signs. Songs, people that say or do something. Signs you notice that God is calling you and telling you He is there etc... Please don't just say one half hearted prayer and then be done. Please pray often and be open to Him and believe at least that it's possible He is there and I promise you He will let you know He loves you and He is real. He's waiting for you and He loves you more then anyone on earth has ever loved you.

About hell. He doesn't send people to hell. People choose to go to hell. I know this sounds crazy, why would anyone choose hell? When God gave us freewill, He allowed us to choose our path in life, He also allowed us to choose good or bad and He allowed us to choose whether or not we wanted God in our life. Hell is a permanent separation from God. God is love, hell is the absence of love. God is light, Hell is total darkness, God is hope, hell is hopelessness. Hell is eternity away from God. God will not force us to love Him. He could if He wanted to, but He wants you to love Him by your choice. Who wants to make someone love them? It is not real love then anyway. I hope this helped you, please pray about this before you choose to do nothing.

    "he is an AMAZING God"

The most amazing thing about God is that he is OMNIPRESENT, but noone can see, hear, feel or pretty much sense him in any way. He is also OMNIPOTENT, but he refuses to help anyone or stop crime or pretty much do anything. Let's look at this logically: if someone cannot be seen, heard, smelled or touched and he has zero measurable effect on anything, then he does not exist.

He that believeth on him is not condemned: but he that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God. (John 3:18 KJV)

A just and righteous God would do such a thing.

Heres what the bible says about all ppl.

But God shows his anger from heaven against all sinful, wicked people who ***suppress*** the truth by their wickedness. They ***know*** the truth about God because he has made it ***obvious*** to them. For ever since the world was created, people have ***seen*** the earth and sky. Through everything God made, they can ***clearly*** see his invisible qualities—his eternal power and divine nature. So they ***have no excuse*** for not knowing God.

***Yes, they knew God***, but ***they wouldn’t*** worship him as God or even give him thanks. And they began to think up foolish ideas of what God was like. As a result, their minds became dark and confused. Claiming to be wise, they instead became utter fools. And instead of worshiping the glorious, ever-living God, they worshiped idols made to look like mere people and birds and animals and reptiles.

This is the verdict: Light has come into the world, but people loved darkness instead of light because their deeds were evil. Everyone who does evil hates the light, and ***will not come into the light for fear that their deeds will be exposed***. But whoever lives by the truth comes into the light, so that it may be seen plainly that what they have done has been done in the sight of God.

For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life. For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but to save the world through him. Whoever believes in him is not condemned, but whoever does not believe stands condemned already because they have not believed in the name of God’s one and only Son

It says you clearly know of God yet reject Him cuz you (we all at one point) love sin and hate Him.

That's pretty much the Atheist's Wager, a response to Pascal's Wager.

If God is as good as the Christians claim it is, it will understand atheism and will refrain from vindictive condemnation.
