If you have the strongest faith possible does that mean what you have faith in will be true?

    No it just means you are less likely to listen to any evidence against what you believe.

    No way.

    Imagine you are a baby, you've just been born. Your parents tell you from a very young age that you can fly at the age of 18. As you get older they keep telling you, asking you to practise flapping your arms so that when you hit 18, you'll be able to fly really well. They keep feeding you this information and asking you to practise your flying skills.

    To you, that'll be just as true as the fact that the alphabet has 26 letters. That's all you've ever known, you believe that to be completely true because that's just how you've been brought up. It's your 18th birthday and you climb up a hill, stand on the edge of a cliff, jump and flap your arms just like you were taught... but you're not gonna fly.

    It doesn't matter how hard you believe or how many believe in something, belief cannot make something true.
