Hi I would like to know why people would think god would ever feel the emotion of a loss?
It doesn't make sense to me that a god would ever want to feel sad or badly about anything.
After all a god could makes things exactly how they were before the supposed loss

It depends on how the story is written, and the attributes of the god in the story. In many ways, the gods aren't much different from superheroes in comic books. They're stronger than most people, and have powers that most people don't have, but they usually have strong humanistic qualities too so that the audience won't get confused or find the character unrelatable.

Anything that he supposedly lost he could get back exactly like it was before it was lost.. it doesn't make sense to me that a god would ever want him/herself to feel badly

Seems silly that he would, since nothing is ever lost to God, supposedly.

I think he loves humans a lot. He went to a lot of trouble to make this planet habitable so he must care.
