  • Why does my landline phone battery die despite being fully charged?

It's not the phone that does it, because we've bought three different cordless phones and eventually they all do this, I don't understand why.

It'll be on the charger for days but when I pick it up to answer or make a call, it says low battery. The charging light is on on the receiver when it's there, so it's not because it's not connected.

This is really annoying and I'd really like to know why it's doing this and what I can do to fix it.

  • How do I get my windows 7 to stop trying to update with a windows 8 update?

My computer keeps trying to update practically every time I restart and just recently I found out it's trying to give me a security update for windows 8, but I've only got 7. It fails every time and tries again and again. Is it possible to stop this from happening?

  • Can anyone please tell me what this song is?

    It's been bothering me for absolutely years. {So it's an older song}

All I can remember is that it was pretty mellow and I think a man sang it. There's just the one part I get stuck in my head randomly.

I tried my best to recreate it on Isle Of Tune, the google chrome game.

    isleoftune.com/?id=217806

These notes are sung, the first two are drawn out and the whole thing smoothly flows, so it sounds a little different than what I linked.

Please please PLEASE can anyone tell me what this is from? It's been killing me for such a long time. Possibly up to a decade :c

  • I think my cat's pregnancy might have gone wrong. Might be an emergency?

I don't remember or even really know exactly when she got pregnant, but it was a while ago. But she's still really small and now she's acting how cats act when they're supposed to give birth. She's been really panicky the last few days, panting and running around and meowing a lot. And she tries to lead me into a box in a closet so I'm sure she's picked that spot out. Just today, minutes ago, she had some brown, blood-like thick discharge. I looked it up and apparently this is normal for cats about to go into labor.

But I still think it's too soon, and she's still so small. I'm worried about her, she might have lost the kittens but I can't be sure.

Is this how cats act when they lost them? I should probably call a vet, actually.

  • My desktop icons aren't showing up.?

The start bar does show up, though. And when I look at the desktop file in a folder, all my icons are in there. But not on the desktop itself.

    I can't right-click the desktop.

I already went to the task manager and removed explorer.exe and started it up again. It didn't work. So I went to safe mode and restarted the internet from there. It still didn't help.

I just removed a virus from my computer just before this happened and had to use an online sweep during safe mode, and that got rid of the virus, but now I have the desktop problem.

I'm not sure what to do, and we don't have much money to spare for a repairman... So I was hoping someone here could help me?

    Thank you, if you can!

Oh, one more thing. When I click 'Start->All Programs' It's empty... But they still work if I open them with 'run' or hunt them down in the folders.

  • Does anyone have any idea what song by Depeche Mode this is?

Ok, i feel really stupid, but there is this song by them that i love, but the problem is i haven't heard it in a long time. All i remember is some of the Music video. It's on this ship, and there are a lot of spacey-matrixy animals and things floating around. The strongest memory i have is of these pistons on the ship pumping to the beat... I will love anyone who can tell me what song i'm looking for!! ps, I'm pretty sure it's from that 'angel' cd(i am aware that isnt the whole name of the album...)
