Starts fine, Idles fine, bogs when gas pressed - Kia?
We have a 2000 Kia Sportage (ack.)...
About 2-4 weeks ago, it started losing power on hills. Quite suddenly, as of a few days ago, it starts fine, idles fine, but has absolutely no acceleration..the engine just bogs down. It doesn't die, it just doesn't DO anything.
This happened while my husband was driving the car - suddenly, no acceleration.
We added gas treatment and replaced the fuel filter, but that didn't help. The plugs have been replaced recently.
Any clues?
Thanks,
Julie
4 AnswersMaintenance & Repairs1 decade agoQuestion points not returned for "I agree!" and "Me too!" answers?
A question that has no answers gets those points returned. However, I posted a question with one answer: "OMG tell me if you find one,,," Obviously, not an answer. ("Does attachment A fit pasta machine B?). Why should I have to "pay" for it?
I've only answered questions that I felt I knew the answer to, but it was never clear that answering a question with a "I agree" answer could actually hurt the asker of the question (no way to recoup their points). Is there any way to fix this? Should I simply create a separate account with a different ISP (I have dial up account to go back up my satellite internet) and only ask questions using that account? That feels like cheating, but if there's no way fix a "Yeah, me too!" answer, I'm clueless. With this question, I've asked 5 total, including the one with a bogus answer and this one. I love this site, but it's not adding up with the work I put into answering questions against the 10 points with no answer this question has produced.
3 AnswersYahoo Answers1 decade agoWhere to find teeny tiny shell pasta?
I used to be able to get very tiny shell pasta in a 12 oz or 1lb bag (that's a guess). This pasta is about the size of a grain of barley. I've searched both stores and online for the past 3-4 years and haven't seen it. Does anyone know where to find it? (Heck, and what it's called? lol)
2 AnswersCooking & Recipes1 decade agoWill another maker's gnocchi attachment fit a Marcato pasta machine?
I have a Marcato Atlas 150 (my second - wore the first one out !). I've been looking for a gnocchi maker, so I don't have to make gnocchi by hand every time - lol - and I noticed that there are Villaware and Imperia pasta machine attachments (also a 150) that make gnocchi. Does anyone know, will a Villaware or Imperia 150 attachment fit on the Marcato?
3 AnswersCooking & Recipes1 decade agoSavory "Cookie" Appetizer?
Not to be sacreligious or anything, but I am not a huge fan of all sweets on the holidays, not even chocolate. I prefer salt and fat - lol.
For a Christmas party I'm going to, I want to create some sort of pastry, cut it out with cookie cutters like sugar cookies, and decorate it with, say, cream cheese colored with paprika or turmeric or avocado paste or whatever, flavored with different things, piped on just like you would on a gingerbread man or something...using bits of olive for eyes, etc.
Any suggestions for the "frosting" so far as colors and flavors and ingredients go? Any other suggestion of things to decorate them with? Any pastry suggestions? I want these to look a lot like real sugar cookies. Thanks.
