My dog will be 11 next may. He's the calmest and most relaxed dog you could ask for. Never barks, listens great. However we just gave him a doggy treat, and he picked it up and walked away from us. I went to see where he went and when he came close, he picked it up and went to a different room. I only wanted to give him half so I pet his back to let him know I was coming for it and he gave an angry growl instantly. I was alarmed because he never does something like that. Still eating the treat I snatched it and he let out the loudest and angriest pitched scream ever. He snapped at my hand on the way up as well. I punished him because I should be able to remove food from him without an issue. Advice? What happened to him.

So before this starts, I think this is all an emotional thing. I just finished watching 13 reasons why and now i seem to be upset and questioning everything. Im on winter break. I have a couple weeks left before its time to return to school but I love being home and being with my family for the holidays and im not sure I want to go back? Its been 1 semester and I really dont have any real friends. But i really havent put myself out there. I ve always been kind of anti social. I dont know what to do.

I come home from college for Thanksgiving break to see my dad wearing a heart monitor. They found a 3-4cm aneurysm on his heart. He tells me not to worry about it, but after much research it's clearly something to worry about. I'm back at school now and I cant seem to focus on anything but my dad. I dont know what's going to happen, apparently this aneursym can burst at any moment. Will they do surgery? I dont want to lose my dad.

My parents are getting divorced. My dad and I have been spending a lot of time together. He visits me frequently at college, we spend the weekend at sporting events, bowling etc. However my mom sent me a text that im "choosing sides" and that she does a lot for me and i've abandoned her. I dont know what to say..

So it's my first night of college and I got invited to a party to watch the big fight and have some beers. However, it's an underage house party and I've never been to one. I want to go, but I'm scared. I feel like with the fight being prevalent, and it being move in day, cops will be on the lookout for parties to squash... any advice?

So for whatever reason every beer I ve tasted, makes me gag... Stella, Bud light, Heineken.... The overpowering taste of bitter or sourness rushes my tastebuds and makes me cringe... Yet my friends can down one beer after the other?... Can someone explain

So..I just graduated highschool. My grandparents came down for my graduation, spent 2 weeks here, and they leave tomorrow. Im feeling a bit upset, about them leaving. I also start my summer job tomorrow, I hate this job, im unhappy their, but dont have a choice since i work for my father. I also am sad about leaving for college. It s scary to think my days at home are numbered. Im going to be on my own, no family to support me...Im sad.

Im not quite sure what's going on right now. Im a senior in highschool, only 20 days left. Leaving home soon and heading off to college. Im sad to leave home and worried about being on my own. Im away on vacation right now, the week is already over, I had my heart broke while i was here by a girl that I thought was into me. I have absolutley nothing to look forward to. No vacations, College, Girl of my dreams gone. Please, help me.

met this girl my age on vacation. We've been very flirty torwards eachother. She makes jokes w/ me, always looking at me, as i do the same to her. We went to dinner yesterday. Dinner tonight. We came back to my hotel tonight, sitting by the pool, having a normal conversation and she says "oh, i never really liked lacrosse after my boyfriend broke his ribs a couple weeks ago"...... Like what. Did she just use me? Im so upset.

So... Senior Prom is in a couple of weeks. I have no date, I wasn t even planning on going. Everyone keeps asking me, who are you taking?

Here s the problem, I go to an all guys school, so I havent been friends with or talked to any girls since 8th grade. But everyone of my friends has a date, and I m the odd man out. What do I do? I don t wanna miss out on my last hurrah :(

For the last 11 years I have been playing basketball for my parish. I went to middle school, played in a school league with all my classmates from 1st grade till 8th. I can remember all the countless nights of practice, close and exciting games. Even during high school we continued playing for our middle school parish s high school team. We are now seniors in high school, and tonight was the last game we will ever play together. It was a terrible loss and we didn t play well. I can t help but feel depressed that after so many good years of growing up with these guys and playing basketball, we have to end on a lost like this and say goodbye. I m really depressed it s over because I m going to miss these guys and the memories we made. Jeez I remember the first day of tryouts....now we re seniors parting ways for college :(

The last time he got tickets, he told me to take my friend, so this time when he showed me them i said, "Oh sweet, ill text Joey and see if he s available" Only problem is.....I think my dad wanted to come this time, and I feel really bad. What can I do to get my dad to come? Im lost.

Note: I already asked my friend and he said yes. The game is tomorrow.

So my dad just gave me a car for my birthday (4 days ago), and as I was pulling out of my driveway, i hit the curb and scratched one of the rims...Its not that bad but it's scuffed about 1-2 inches.

I feel so guilty and im becoming upset. I want to tell my dad but I dont want to upset him and make him think i dont appreciate the gift because i scratched it already.

what do i do?!
