Be warned...before I get started there's a dose of self pity here... :-s

I'm a 24 year old man and I'm pretty scared that I may be bi-polar and that my lows are getting lower.

A few years back (5 yrs actually) my dad took his own life and I was the one who found him. We now attribute this act to what could have been manic depression. For a few months after I seemed...y'know...okay, considering. Before long the panic attacks started kicking in though, but then, a few months and some anti-depressants later, I just stopped worrying. Stopped caring. About everything...Lost my girlfriend of 4 years, best friend of 10 years(whom I hurt badly), job of three years and finally my house. Through all this I'd told my family NOTHING of the job loss and the eviction notice but eventually word leaked to my mam and she wound up bailing out me out of thousands of pounds worth of debt (I still lost the house but was fortunate enough to have another good friend who put me up for months rent free until I was back on my feet).

Afterwards, I felt so f*****ng guilty to my mam and friend(s) that I really pushed to get back into work, and on my feet, paying back rent and loaned monies. This has given everyone the impression that I'm 'okay' again, but actually, I feel worse now than I ever have in my life. I think that everyone hates me. I feel that everyone thinks I'm a mummys boy for needing her help, and I miss my best friend still.

Now I don't know if I have hereditary depression which could get as bad as my dads...or if I just feel this awful sometimes because I left such a trail of hurt friends, partners and wallets in my wake...

Ideally I'd like an Asus Rampage iii Extreme Edition but that's a bit out of my price range.

I have about £120 ($180-ish) for one and wondered what can give me the most bang for my buck. Will be mostly used for games and Photoshop so a bit of overclocking potential would be nice too.

Designing a website for a friend who has a small business buying and selling cars.

I'm decent-ish with forms and php so I can bounce someone's Car Reg to my friends email okay...but all I'd really like to know is if there's some way I could integrate some free Reg lookup script after they've put it in and hit the 'submit' button so it looks professional.

I've decided to be gutsy and do a bit of the lonely traveller thing :)

Have just booked a flight budapest but it seems really hard to judge where I should book a hotel. What would you call the exact centre of budapest? I really don't want to be miles away in some dodgy neighborhood, or on the 'wrong side of the river' sort of thing.

I want the same as most tourists really, best attractions by day and good safe pubs by night.

Any advice would be awesome!

Just wondering if a fan and heatsink for a 120gb PS3 slim would fit a 160/360gb Slim?

After fixing a ylod on 2 fat Ps3's a few times I finally give up and bought a 120gb ps3 slim....But now that's giving me a flashing red light after about a minute of game-play!

Luckily I have friend with the another working slim (both out of warranty) who let me borrow a few components for testing (so when I say 'new', I mean 'borrowed'). Here's where I'm at now....

1.) Tried service menu> Rebuild database

2.) Cleaned fan and vents with air can (they were pretty clean anyways)

3.) Tried new PSU

4.) Tried new cooling fan

5.) Tried new hdd

...But still it boots for about a minute then crashes with flashing red light...Does this mean another knackered motherboard? Does anyone know of any guides/videos out there for helping with my problem?

Please tell me I dont have to get that bastard heatgun out again :(

I currently have a 4x10 guitar cab that...so far...I've put two 75w 8ohm eminance speakers in but I've run out of money and need it working for gig asap and I'm still 2 speakers short....here's where my tricky stuff starts.

Someone has offered me two used Stageline 100w 4ohm speakers.

I was wondering If I could just wire another 4ohm (high wattage - ceramic) resistor to each 100w speaker? Will this match the resistance of all speakers? AND bring the wattage of the new pair closer to the 75w mark?

I really like the drop down menu on the BBC News website when scrolling over the 'More...' button and would love to use it in a site. I know a little code but it doesn't seem to have been built with html.

Could someone please help break it down for me...as in is it a CSS/Jquery menu...

and more importantly, how can I rip out the particular elements I need to put it in my site?

Basically I built a little site for my business and thought i'd drop in a 'contact us' type email form.

My idea was to build it on jotform cos it looks really good, then 'borrow' the source code, make a small change and send the form through my own little php script straight to my email (cut out jotform).

For some reason though it just never goes through. Could someone suggest any reason why this wouldn't work with a jotform or could someone point point me in the direction of a better php script?

I'm basically building a little site for a business using adobe muse and I'd really like to have an update-able photo page within my site for my projects.

I thought I could just use an iframe to capture my facebook business page but it seems facebook no longer allow it.

Are there any other photo sharing sites that I could use with an iframe within my site?

Or is there some other way of having a page I can still update within my static site?

Hey, I use my PS3(dualshock 3) controller with my pc often using Motioninjoy. BUT I now have to reguarly use a pc with no internet connection, which renders motioninjoy useless. Anyone know of any other progs i can get to drive my controller with the pc? THANKS!
