I am interested in learning to play a music instrument and I am wondering if there is a way to tell what "handed" am I? I write left handed but throw and do a few other things right handed. I have had one of my friends kind of teach me a few basic things on his guitar which is right handed, which felt awkward at first but after a week or so of picking it up and playing around with it, it felt normal.

Now I am intrested in playing either the bass guitar or the drums; both of which, when I went to my local music store, I was told could be played right or left handed. I tried holding a left handed bass and a right handed bass. Well the right felt more comfortable, but I am assuming that is because I have been holding a right handed guitar for almost 2 weeks now. The left handed bass felt awkward like the right did when I first picked it up and my fingers dont stretch as far but I am guessing that is because I have never used them in that way before.

As for the drums he gave me 2 sticks and pretty much moved one drum to the leftside then after a few min moved it to the right side and asked what felt more natural.

As I think I was more nervous and shy that I had just hit some drums with 0 rythem ability in a store full of people I couldnt quite focus on what felt more comfortable in that situation.

So I figured Id ask my peers before I go back with my decision on which instrument I wish to invest a large amount of my time in from now on...

Is there a way to tell what hand you play with and how do I find out? Also is it something that is going to ruin my ability to learn, not saying lefties cant play well but if it turns out I am a righty but bought a lefty and just kept playing till it became natural will I have "gimped" myself to a certain ability level because my body / mind cant compute as well when I am playing with my wrong hand?

Any help, tips or advice is welcome as I take this as a big life decision and do not want to go into it half heartedly. So please dont just respond with a, your a lefty or righty, if you do then please explain why and how you come to that conclusion.

I am looking for an anime where the main characters fall in love and start some sort of relationship during or at least at the very end of the anime.

It doesnt have to be an over the top anime like Zero no Tsukaima, nor does it have to be a down to earth anime like Kimi ni Todoke or Lamune.

Basically my requirements are as follows :

Main character guy and main character girl (The story can be told from either ones point of view) start off as friends and by the time the credits roll on the last episode they are in a relationship of some sorts (and they both know that they are in said relationship).

Other than that everything else is a perk. Comedy, Slice of Life are stronger perks that I would like but not required.

Also other things that are okay are Harem, Ecchi, Drama and Action. These arnt something I look for first and fore-most but I understand alot of Rom-Coms normally have one of these tags on it aswell (such as Toradora!).

I just got done with Otome Youkai Zakuro and that one fit the bill and I quite liked it, also the same goes for Sora no Otoshimono Forte which I quite liked even thought there was no definite relationship it did have a happy ending.

I know it sounds like a riddle but I swear I have heard title / name for this person / being before.

I dont remember if it was a made up person / creature or something from a biblical text or not, but if you do know the name / title / anything about the above question please respond...its been driving me nuts for awhile now.

The short of it is, I have had 2 major relationships in my life.

One was my High-school sweetheart and bf of 3 years before we dated for another 4 years. She wound up cheating on me while I was away at basic training in the army.

The second was a girl I meet a few years after the I left the army and we had dated / lived together for 2 years before she also cheated on me.

After both relationships I asked both of them if it was something I did to drive them away so that I could understand the problem better and hopefully better myself so that it wouldn't happen a 3rd time.

My High-school ex said it was because we couldnt connect on an intellectual level (She was going to college for pre-med and all I have ever wanted to do was be a police officer.) I will admit we did have a gap between us in that department. She was a 4.1 or 2 honor student in High-school and revived a scholarship to college where I was a 3.0 and joined the army so my parents wouldnt have to carry the burden of my college bills.

The second relationship was a bit different. She basically told me that she had just grown bored and didnt care about our relationship anymore but at the same time didnt want to break it off with me because she was afraid of hurting me.

Well after both these relationships (I am now 26) I have found myself interested in another girl (it has been about 3 years from my second serious relationship) but I am noticing that I have become jealous for no reason. This current girl and I are not dating but have both voiced interest in each other and we are taking somewhat slow so we can get to know each other a bit better before we commit to anything.

Well today when I was speaking to my best friend (a male) on the phone he told me that she gave him her number to speak to him about a project all 3 of us are working on. When I heard this I will admit I got a bit jealous of the fact she did that even though I know for a fact there was no other intent behind her giving him, her number other than the project. This kind of scared me because like I said we are not dating and she as far as I know has no interest in him in that way, and even if she did I feel I would have or should have no right to get upset at this because right now we are pretty much two people who "have a crush" on each other.

Please help me with this or at least point me to a source in which I can get some sort of help to nip this problem in the bud before it becomes something worse.

Any advice is worth commenting with because it will at least give me different points of view on this problem of mine and may help me to solve it myself.

I just finished watching Isekai no Seikishi Monogatari and loved it.

What I am looking for is an anime with the same feel, not the same setting or same plot but the same basic feel.

For example animes I consider to be like Isekai no Seikishi and why.

Tenchi Muyo! - Harem, comedy and the male lead is strong (somewhat form the get go but when get finds out how to use the light hawk wings its on)

Zero no Tsukaima - Harem, comedy and the male lead is strong ( not so much at the start but as he comes to realize his powers he and his partner become the strongest set of people in the whole setting)

Princes Lover - Harem, comedy, strong male lead ( Although hes strength isnt the focus of the show they elude to it during different parts of the show. )

Goshuushou-sama Ninomiya-kun - Harem, comedy, strong male lead ( Shows you from the get go as he kicks a bears *** with his fists and feet )

Chrome Shelled Regios - Strong male lead, light comedy and not really a harem although he does have a few girls around him and a few that like him its pretty evident that he cares for someone from the start and doesnt stray from that. Also He is so strong that the show is pretty much about pointing it out.

Along with those above I have also seen Hayate the Combat Butler, They are my noble masters and Ichiban Ushiro no Daimaou.

I know its a tall order and not a very common type of anime but if you know any shows that were not listed that have the same kinda of guide line please let me know.

Quick guideline sum up: Harem, Strong male lead ( Sorry no Love Hina type leads ). Comedy, Ecchi, Romance, Action are all +'s to the first two but are not deal breakers if not present.

My friend and I are taking a trip to Osaka Japan on July 24th and are staying until August 10th and we have no real plan for what to do / visit while we are in Japan. I just got done watching GTO and noticed that the blond haired girl has 1 blue and 1 brown eye. Then I remembered 2 more shows that had characters with this trait. Cowboy bebop (Spike, Has one light brown and dark brown and speaks about it in one of the last episodes) and Negima! (Asuna, 1 Blue and 1 Green)

So I was wondering if anyone out there know of any other anime that have male or female characters that have 2 different eye colors. I am interested in this because I in-fact have 1 brown and 1 green eye.

As the title says, I just finished watching Aishiteruze Baby the anime and want to see how the manga ends, however I dont know what chapter the anime ends on and the manga continues. The end of the anime for those who havent watched it but have read the manga ends with Kokoro, Kippei and Yuzuyu all sleeping over at Kippei's house in his bed. Kippei's sister went to go see Yuzuyu's mother and she found the book of days she hasnt cried...then Kippei's sister is showin going home and thats pretty much the ending of the anime they gave us.

So if anyone knows what chapter this happens in the Manga please let me know.

My friend and I are going to Japan for the first 14 days of August 2010. We both know very little Japanese, although I plan on learning as much as I can before we leave. I am going because I am studying Cultural Anthropology and wish to base all of my work off of Japan.

Being my first trip to the country I want to stay in more non Japanese speaking friendly areas, however also being a college student I cant afford to stay in anywhere too expensive ( IE 5 star hotels in Tokyo )

This will be the first of many trips I am going to be taking over the next few years and really just want to get my "feet wet" in the Japanese culture. So what I am asking you fine people is where should I stay for my trip?

I am leaning towards Tokyo (closer to the out skirts where I am guessing it will be a bit cheaper), Kyoto or Osaka.

I really just want to explore the city life and am really really reallllllly wanting to see some of the shrines / temples. I am however afraid that if we dont stay in Tokyo we wont get to see all the different walks of culture that congregate there, or all the cool little shops.

If I am wrong in this line of thinking please correct me. Any information on where to stay and what to see is much welcomed. We will not be going out on any 2 day trips out of the city that I know of but will be buying a 7 day JR pass.

I am interested in knowing if any police out there could tell me or someone who had this happen to them. My dog was not on the side walk but was in the little gutter bit right next to the side walk sniffing the ground, ( you know the gutter bit that is the same color as the side walk and goes out about 6 inches ) when a driver hit my dog and killed him. I was standing right next to my dog when it happened and the driver stopped and gave me his info in case I needed to get in contact with him. My dog was in no way out in the black asphalt of the street and if I had taken a step to the right I would have been hit too.

So can anyone tell me what I can and should do in this situation?

On most files and all of my pc-dvds (IE games) I can right click the cd and find the Open With command. However when I try this with a burned cd I can't find the command. I don't to open every cd with Itunes!!!!!

For someone who speaks English. I will know some Japanese but from my understanding, not everywhere in Japan is English speaking friendly*.

* Note English speaking friendly to me means that the people don't understand English and will be very hard to find someone to help me. I know the Japanese are very nice people and will help if they can.

On average what is the cost of a 1 day or if they make 1 way rail pass for Japan ( I only plan on going from Chiba to Tokyo when I arrive )

I'm going to be finishing up my Associates Degree in a few more months and I wanted to know if it was possible to move to Japan to finish off my 4 year?

I plan on studying Japanese language, culture, history and art.

If so will I also be able to get work with a student type visa?
