Is this Implantation Bleeding?
My periods are ALWAYS like clockwork. I'm a heavy 5/6 day heavy bleeder on the 18th of every month. My last normal period was Feb. This March. I had a short, two day period on the 14th. It wasn't as heavy as a normal period, but I had tiny clots and it was more of a darker red. I thought nothing of it at the time. This March I had unrpotected sex on the 29th and in April on the 2nd. We normally use the pull out method but those two times he came in me. On the 5th and 8th I had maybe a drop or two of blood in my discharge, which had increased allot, which isn't normal for me. I started a light period on the 9th, which was mostly made up of light pink and brown blood. It wasn't a heavy flow, very spotty throughout the day, but enough to see it on a liner, It came and went and just ended on the 10th. Today on the 11th, I'm wiping mostly brown (TMI) and occasionally have a little bit of light pink blood. It's only when I wipe.
About a week before I started this "off" period I felt pregnant. I have never had any PMS symptoms but for about a week my breasts were swollen and VERY tender to touch, veins were popping out, I had a cross between constipation/direhha. I had headaches, lower stomach pressure and I had dizzy spells and hot spells. All of these have gone away since the start of this odd period except the veins in my breasts and headaches.
Does this sound like it could be implantation bleeding or something else? How long would you wait to test?
1 AnswerPregnancy8 years agoCan I still charge him? Ex strangled me?
Several days ago me and my now ex boyfriend got into a physical fight which ended up in him making the first move and strangling me and leaving bruises on my neck. I slapped him away and filed a charge with the police. He was charged with assault and strangulation. However when he was questioned he told the police that I made the first move and tried to strangle him (there were no marks on his neck) and the officer told me that it'd be better just to drop it since he'd have to charge me with the same thing and it'd have to go to court and take allot of time and money. I agreed with the cop and the case was dismissed. This was yesterday.
However I was made aware today by the guy he was living with that he was under the influence of weed when he attacked me and made the statement to the police. He said that when he smokes, he goes crazy and doesn't remember anything for several hours. He is also in possession of weed at this moment and had become a pothead. Is there anyway that I can continue up with the charge? And will the statement he made to the police be taken since he was under the influence when he made the statement?
3 AnswersLaw Enforcement & Police8 years agoWeird Symptoms am I pregnant?
I'm having odd symptoms and I wanted to know what you guys thought. Me and my bf have sex at least twice a week and we use the pull out method. I usually swallow when he needs to *** or anal. I've been very tired lately but the biggest change with me has been my mood swings. Everything has been pissing me off and annoying me to no end. I'm usually a regular (every month on the 18th-22nd) but last month I had my period on the 9-14th. I have not had a period since than. I'm having cramping and had one sharp pain in my belly button area for a day when I tried to bend over. I don't usually get headaches now I wake up with them all the time. I'm tired, peeing allot more than usual. I have random dizzy spells and lower back pain. My appetite is totally gone. I'm having ALLOT of wetness and sticky white mucus. It feels like I'm turned on all the time when I'm not. When I try to eat I feel sick and can't. Does this sound like pregnancy?
2 AnswersPregnancy8 years agoStarting an older horse after sitting?
My barn has a 17 year old OTTB mare that used to be a nice competition horse before she was abandoned at my barn. She'd has good care, but hasn't been ridden in 2 years My barn asked me to start her again. Have any of you guys ever done this or any tips you can give me?
6 AnswersHorses8 years agoHow would you approach this matter?
I moved into my new barn recently and I love it. The care is great, my horse and I are both happy. We have two barns, a mare and gelding barn. The caretaker of the gelding barn had been unemployed for awhile so she decided to start taking care of the chores for gelding barn. There are only 12 stalls. She just recently got employed and by the third day you could tell that the barn was taking a toll on her, but she doesn't want to give it up because she loves to do it. She doesn't get paid and they don't own a horse, she does it out of her love for horses. My job allows me to get up early and help out. How would you guys approach this matter? I'd like to come early and work off board and let out and clean the stalls... since she still wants to help, she could come after work and hay/feed/water before the horses come in for the night.
How would you guys approach the owner with this, especially since right now the work is being done for free? Even if it wasn't everyday, I could do it twice a week or so, just to give her a break.
1 AnswerHorses8 years agoHorse Backs and Gives a small rear when asked to walk forwards?
I'll put this out there right now, THIS IS NOT MY MARE. I'm working and trying to help a friend. She is scared of her horse so I'm trying to help her. I've solved her groundwork problems now it comes to saddling. Her feet and teeth were just done. She has a correctly fitted saddle (we double checked it with a saddle maker and her vet). She has a 15 year old QH mare. She wasn't ridden for a good part of 6 years. She's a great little horse but there are certain spots around are barn that she refuses to move forwards when you're riding her, and she either backs up or does a little half rear or kicks out at nothing. Please note, these spots she does them are are usually on narrower paths where there is not much room to work, or their is barbed wire fence on both sides. I've been carrying a crop with me and give her a small pop every time on the butt but has anyone else figured another way? She's not in pain and its only at certain parts, not all.
3 AnswersHorses8 years agoIs there anything wrong with waiting for your "dream horse"?
I saw many people had different opinions on this so I was curious to your guys thoughts? I'm currently ready and looking to get a second horse, as I love my boy dearly but I'd like another project as he's as the point where I want him :) I'm looking for a horse of a certain color, temperament and build. I'm in NO hurry to buy anytime soon, and I'm willing to wait, but I was curious if you guys think it's wrong to wait or want a certain colored horse?
My gelding now is a gray and he's perfect for me :) However my dream horse is a Leapord Buckskin Appy...
11 AnswersHorses8 years agoMy boyfriend's dad hates me...?
This is a long story but I'll make it as short as possible. I'm 19 and my boyfriend is 20. We've been together over a year and we love each other very much... his parents recently adored me until I became pregnant. My boyfriend's father is very abusive and out of fear, we both decided not to tell them. We both agreed on an abortion after we found out the baby wasn't going to make it. It was our decision as a couple and we're sticking by it so please nothing on the subject. Anyway, somehow his parents found out and now his parents believe I'm a bad influence and a liar and hate my guts, especially his father, who doesn't even believe I was pregnant to begin with.
They have taken away his car and only allow it for school. He is only allowed to see ONE of his friends (that's a kiss up to his dad) and the rest of us aren't allowed. Of course, he doesn't listen and we all see him anyway. I'm not allowed on their property or allowed to see him. He just recently blocked my number from his phone, as is everyone else except the one friend. His parents forced him into college when he wasn't ready to study for something THEY want him to do... so he ended up failing and loosing all funding. His dad is now paying for college.
His dad has honestly lost his marbles, and everyone is getting sick of this but we aren't sure how to handle it. my boyfriend wants to stay in school and do good, and I want him to as well but as long as he lives under his parents roof, he has NO life and he's miserable. His dad and him are constantly fighting. Even if I left him (which I wouldn't) his dad would still run his life. Help?
3 AnswersFamily8 years agoIs AC4H a scam????????????
I've heard allot of things about AC4H (another chance for horses) both bad and good. I've heard from several people that have adopted from them that the horses are perfect, no issues and so on while I've heard from others that they're just doing it for a profit and so on. I'm interested in saving a horse they have but need to know what you guys think. Also if you don't know who they are, please don't comment.
4 AnswersHorses8 years agoBarn Issues... Help???????
Right now I have my horse boarded about 20 minutes away from me and I only pay 175 a month for his board. I love the place I'm at, the care is great, however me and the barn owner have some personal issues. I do NOT drive right now due to being in a horrible accident a bit ago (I honestly should be dead right now) and haven't had the courage yet to get behind the wheel again so I have a good friend who also boards up there who picks me up when she goes, as I'm literally on the way so she doesn't go out of the way. I also give her gas money when she accepts it. However the barn owner is constantly making remarks to her and me about how I'm just "using her" as a taxi and how I should find my own way there and stop using people. She's also a die hard clinton anderson follower and believes that if people don't do it his way, it's wrong, therefore she hates my horse. My gelding was a rescue and went from being terrified of a saddle and anything that moves to being able to be ridden to McDonalds for lunch in traffic. But apparently I'm wrong since I don't use his methods, therefore my horse is horrible. I'm honestly sick of her and her little comments to be, however my horse is very happy there. There is a barn that's 5 minutes away from me that I love, but it's 290 a month. The care isn't as top notch, but they do take great care of the horses. The barn owner is very nice and they have 80 acres of trails around them to ride, which I love.
Would you guys pay the 290 a month to be closer? Or stick with the current barn? Also any advice for my current barn owner?
5 AnswersHorses9 years agoDoes this sound like pregnancy?
Me and my boyfriend had sex 2ish weeks ago. He wanted to feel me without a condom since we've always used condoms. He was already dripping precum really bad and thrusted in me a few times, before I told him to put a condom on cause he was close. He came inside me WITH a condom on. I was late for my period and I had a regluar period for about a day than towards the end of the day it was just a brown discharge and now it's gone totally. When I go to the bathroom I'm seeing a little blood but not allot.
I can't eat anything without feeling like I'm about to throw up, my stomach hurts constantly and I have slight headaches. My breasts may be a little larger? I'm not sure... does this sound like pregnancy or something else? I have been going through a rough time at work, but I'm coping just fine. What do you guys think this could be?
5 AnswersPregnancy9 years agoWhat do you think is the most well caused mistake?
What do you guys think is one of the most well caused mistakes for people buying/selling horses quickly. Do you think it's cause people don't know what they're getting into when they buy a horse? Is it cause they bought a horse off of color instead of experience level? Or do you think it's when people buy horses and get a job to support a horse, but end up not having enough time for their horse because of their job?
Or others? What do you guys think?
6 AnswersHorses9 years agoExperienced Horse Buyers?
When going to buy a horse, everyone has a set limit in their mind on how much their willing to spend on that horse. After you look at a horse that you like, but has a few issues that would lower the price, how would you bring that up without being rude? Being upfront and blunt about it would result in a pissed off owner and no sale... how do you politely go about offering a lower price cause of issues?
7 AnswersHorses9 years agoHow To Prove it to Others and Neglect Question?
I actually have two questions:
1. My gelding is deathly afraid of vets (horrible experience with them in the past) so my vet showed me how to give my own shots. I give my gelding all his shots myself but for most horse shows, you need proof of shots. How do I go about proving this?
2. There is a farm right down the road from me where I personally feel it's neglect but others might not. She has close to 21 horses standing on about 3 acres of mud. They have 1 or 2 round bales at at once for all the horses, dirty water and a shelter big enough for maybe 5 horses top. Some of them are really skinny (usually the lower ranking ones as the bigger horses are overweight). Would you call this neglect or? I know that most shelters say as long as their is food, water, and shelter they can't do much but the horses are standing in mud almost knee deep.
7 AnswersHorses9 years agoWhat Would You Guys Do?
So right now I'm looking at getting a second horse as a pasture mate for my gelding. I have the money and the means to provide a second horse a home but I'm debating on what I should do. Here are my choices:
1. Save up for a few weeks and get this mare I fell in love with and trained at the end of the summer. She's a grade Arab cross with a bad temper but she's perfect for me. She's $1300
2. Go to a rescue where the adoption fee's are $100 and rescue a horse
3. Get a younger horse, train myself, and sell later on (I want to get into the training business anyway)
4. Go to an auction and look around and possibly save a horse's life
5. Adopt a BLM mustang colt
I really wasn't sure which I wanted to do and I'd appreciate any honest answers. Please no rude comments or answers. I AM ready for a second horse. I've been riding for 18 years, showed and trained with some of top natural horsemanship people, showed barrels/poles, WP, hunter/jumper, flat classes, trail. I've worked with tons of problem horses, spooky horses, and have turned my spooky gelding into a safe trail and road mount in a few months.
14 AnswersHorses9 years agoHow Much Would You Guys Charge?
I'm looking to half lease my gelding and was wondering what a good price to charge is. The barn's board is $250 a month and it covers everything. His feet get done every 7 weeks at $25. The barn has a large indoor and outdoor arena as well as 80 acres of trail riding just down the road. It would have his tack in it too (his saddle was special fit). She'd only be allowed to ride 4 days top a week. I'd allow her to take him to shows and stuff with permission. What do you guys think?
10 AnswersHorses9 years agoHow does he look to you guys?
Buckshot is a 9 year old, registered AQHA gelding. When I got him I was told he'd done good in halter as a colt, but what about now showing in smaller classes? I'm sorry he's not perfectly squared up, these are the best shots I could find. No rude comments please.
I do realize that he has long pasterns and he has been seen about them by a vet and farrier and he's been cleared sound for anything. I mostly do trail riding but am patterning him on barrels and maybe a little jumping (under 2 feet)

9 AnswersHorses9 years agoWhat do you guys think of this?
So I'm either going to fall over in shock or cry... I agree that there needs to be a freaking test to pass before you even consider buying a horse. I'm talking to one of my lesson girls who just informed me that her friend, who's 12, just bought a 2 1/2 year old grade horse and is training the horse herself. She's very "experienced" because she can jump and has been around horses for 4 years...
Is there ANY way I can convince them to seek help? Or should I just let this little girl kill herself basically... I've seen the horse. He's nuts.
8 AnswersHorses9 years agoHorse Being Alone? Should I get Another?
I found a place within literally walking distance of my house for my gelding. He'll be in a large pasture alone with an open barn for shelter. It also has stalls in the barn. There is a barn right next door where you can hear the other horses but not see them. He's been with other horses his entire life... he currently lives with a mare, a donkey and a mule. I'm paying $100 a month for pasture board and can add another horse for another $25, provided I do all the work which I prefer. I was debating on getting another horse or not for him for company. Either another horse or a mini... I'd like a horse that I could go trail riding with my boyfriend with. I am financially stable enough to provide for the horse, but can't spend out of the pocket paying for a $1000 horse when he'd mostly be a pasture ornament. Should I look into an older horse? A young horse just unable to be ridden? A younger horse, like 1 or 2? Or should I look into rescues as a foster home. What do you guys think? Or will he be fine alone?
14 AnswersHorses9 years agoWhat do you guys think of Fallon Taylor?
Me and some friends we have this conversation at the barn yesterday. Some people hate her, and think she's a horse trader who takes a grade horse, sticks a huge price tag on them, and should stick to modeling. Others think she's good at what she does and she's just running a business.
What do you guys think of her? I like her myself, personally, but I wouldn't buy one of her horses because I can find a good horse just as good for a much smaller price tag :)
