Me and my mom are thinking of adopting a kitten, we did it before and my cat would hiss if the kitten got close and run away, but she began to warm up to the kitten and stopped hissing when the kitten was near. Unfortunately the kitten died, we're not really sure why. But that was about 3 years ago. We're thinking of getting another kitten. My cat is a domestic shorthair. She doesn't like it when there are a lot of people she doesn't know at our house. But if one or two people come she stays, although she doesn't like it when they pet her. She's not really friendly, but to people she knows she can be really affectionate. My only worry is that getting another kitten will change her personality or something. So can I have some tips on having my cat adjust to a new kitten? Also, I know getting the kitten's claws removed is very painful for them. The only reason my cat's claws were removed was because she always scratched me on accident and ripped up the furniture. But I don't want the kitten to scratch my cat.. How can I prevent that?

Usually my mom is like really chill and funny, but for the last month or so she's been really annoying and clingy and then she'll go bipolar and find the littlest things to get mad at me about that she's never gotten mad at me about before, and then just last week we went on a cruise together and everything was fine and then I realized I forgot something at home and I told her (It was nothing important.) and she was like "you're an idiot. you're a freaking idiot." and today she got all clingy and was like "we never spend time together anymore." and I said "Because you insult me every chance you get." and I reminded her how she called me an idiot, and she denied it and said she didn't and when I tried to tell her that she did she just got mad and told me to leave. What the hell is her problem. She's 49 and I'm just wondering if she's going through menopause or something because she needs a damn good excuse for this kind of crap.

I recently got into longboarding but I've been using my friends board, and I think its time I got my own. I'm 5'7 and I'm not sure how much I weigh, but I'm pretty fit so I'm probably average weight. I'd like a board only for cruising, but can still go pretty fast, and that doesn't have like super wide turns. Tight turns please, :p. Thanks c:

Girls at my school have been telling me that when I hit 15 they start to check if I'm a virgin. Is this true? And if they did, would they tell my parents I'm not a virgin, or could I tell them not to say anything?

I'm 13, and I'm in the 8th grade. I have 2 options for high school. I could go to a school of the arts, or a high school with the STEM program, which would prepare me for engineering, which is what I want to do when I get older. People say that going to a school of the arts will get me into a better college, but is it more important to go to a better college or to learn some stuff now?

I live in a fairly large house and my piano is upstairs, but we want to have a big fish tank right at the bottom of the stairs. Would this interfere with the piano in some way?
