I have a friend visiting the US from the UK. He is staying for a 3 month holiday. He is visiting on the Visa Wavier Program and has already applied for and been approved for his ESTA.

My only concern is him being able to pass Border Control without being detained. He has a return ticket and his ESTA is approved. He does not have a credit card usable in the US, but does he need to have a certain amount of cash on him, will they ask for proof of money to let him through? .

Is there anything else that could possibly detain him?

Can any fluent Italian speakers out there help with translating the following please?

Does anyone remember a game, it was during the mid-late 90s, and all I remember was it was some sort of an online game where other people could walk around, but you played solo. I remember you would create your character and I think it took place in a volcano. It was a first person game, like you couldn't see yourself if I remember correctly. Any clues or ideas would be helpful. I feel like it may have had something to do with runes or spells or something...?

The exact wording to me fromt he publisher was "include a plot summary with your cover letter" (they also want the full manuscript)

does that mean WITHIN the cover letter or ALONGSIDE OF the cover letter as a separate document?

if it a seperate document do I just label it with the manuscript title & my last name int he corner or is there a special way to do it?

PLEASE ONLY ANSWER IF YOU ACTUALLY KNOW WHAT YOU ARE TALKING ABOUT I WOULD APPRECIATE IT!!!

Please only answer if you actually know what you are talking about when it comes to book publishing. No offense, but this is my very real life and I would prefer you leave out the sarcastic or half guessed answers.

That being said, if a publisher asks for a plot summary how much Information do you give? Do you spoil the ending, or do you just do like a jacket flap intro?

Hello! I am looking to get back into playing again after a 9 year absence. I need help getting information about one of the clarinets I have now because I can't find info anywhere!

One of the clarinets is a Val's Artist. It is a wood clarinet. I have had it for 13 years and purchased it from an older man who had it for goodness knows how long. There is no model number, just s 'bg' on the mouthpiece. Where does this brand, Val's Artist, fit on the scale of clarinets? I mean, from Venus to Buffet? Is it worth getting it overhauled or should I just buy new (I could only afford a pro cibaili right now....)

Oh, and the other is my first clainet and is 16 years old and is a Vito (upside down triangle, rectangle with sta, fire hydrant, circle pattern on bell) with a number 2. It's most definately plastic and you could see yourself in its reflection.

I'm looking for the name/channel of a show that is currently running. It's a show that shows how magic tricks are done. They show the trick, then show it again from different angles to show the illusion or if they have on extra "gear" undear their clothing it shows the gear they us.

This past week they showed how they make a huge truck disappear- the saw a woman in half trick, etc. I think the main magician wears a mask... I'm not sure.

Ok,so I've been getting random hive-like bumps on my arms for a long time now- they just appear- no, not just at night and not in a bed-bug type pattern- not, not just on my ankles like fleas- I'll get them at work, too- when I get stressed I notice them more (I seem to find one then).

They are red and raised but not hard and white and they don't seem to have a bite mark in the center or anyhting. They're not in splotches like regular hives, they're kinda dispersed and as big as acne (but it's not that, I know what that is like).

If I take an allergy medicine they go away but I can't take a pill for the rest of my life! I noticed them when I got my new cat (she'd white) and at first thought I was allergic to her but the pattern isn't like normal hives w/splotches.

I only seem to get them where my skin is exposed when I'm around the house.
