Hi so been on birth control for 5 years nothing else and I have bad hirsutism - thick hairy thighs, belly hair, buttock hair and facial hair. Which I shave every single day and even if I do shave it looks so obvious on my thighs you can see all the black dots where the hairs were And I can’t afford laser treatment or anything like that plus waxing I can’t wax my butt and everything else I don’t have time. I was thinking going to the doctors and seeing if I can get anti androgens but do they work? And if they do what one will they likely prescribe in the UK?? I can’t live with this anymore it’s horrible. if anyone has any experiences please tell me 

Hi, I got diagnosed with pcos when I was 15 I’m now 22 and I got put on birth control and that was it since. I am under such a lot of distress because my breast dont look like normal women’s breast they look kind of far apart and like a Man’s it’s not feminine and I really hate it I also have hirsutism which nothing can be done for. Is there anything that can be done maybe at the doctors I just don’t know I feel so sad and hopeless has anyone had any experience? 

I have pcos and high testerone levels due to this I have a lot of hair in my bum and thighs so thick and my face and my arms ect. I take birth Control for my pcos but all it does is give me like 2/3 days very light period, which btw I’ve never had a natural period in my life. So anyway I live in Uk and want to know is there any medication that will work to reduce my hirsutism and isn’t pricey and will actually work? Because I shave every single morning and night I hate the hairs I just want to feel like a woman.

Hello, so I have been feeling so much anxiety depression and constant low mood mixed emotions for a long time ( I can not go doctor as it is shut because of lock down) and I was thinking of ordering some calming tablets I saw some from St. John’s but it says it interacts with birth control. I am looking for some mood tablets online that I can take aswell as birth control does anyone know any?. Also I have to take birth control because I have pcos and it’s to control my hormones

So I used to be in a toxic relationship which I was obsessed with him I was with him constantly and I wouldn’t trust him I would be so upset if he had to leave me also we didn’t live in same area and went through a lot this was about 3 years ago since we split and still I am hurt I went doctors around then because I couldn’t sleep, eat Or anything and I was constantly crying ect since then I am over him abit more and don’t have him on anything ect but when we was together he tried ending me and I felt like dying I smashed a glass on my head and had to go hospital after that we never spoke again. Now I am in a new relationship and it’s pretty much the same I always feel so upset when I have to go home, I feel like he doesn’t care about me, he’s sick of me ect but I can’t help this feeling I feel so sick and like there’s a lump in my throat all day ready to cry my eyes out I feel so empty and lonely. I don’t feel like doing activities or moving I just feel sad and like my stomach is nervous and sick I will beg my boyfriend to see him and I know I shouldn’t cus I should give him space but I can’t there’s something wrong with me I shouldn’t feel like this. I have been doc before they just sent me to counselling which didn’t do anything she just asked what’s mood made me circle smiley faces it didn’t help I cried each time just wanting to be with my boyfriend. I feel I would benefit from medication but they never do anything. Help me what is wrong with me. I want to be happy.

Hi everyone, so where I live it is a small town it has a Tesco and a few other shops but not many so a lot has gone either way I never shop here I always travel 33 miles to shop by taxi. (I am 21) I am wondering if I was to get a taxi from mine to the shop (Cambridgeshire area) would the police stop taxis? Would I need a certificate to show I am going shopping or proof or something?. I messaged my taxi he said he can pick me up from the location but didn’t say if there would be any problems. 

Hello, I have pcos (high androgens) and because of this I have an enlarged clit and it causes me so much depression and embarrassment. I don’t like to show any of my partners my genital part because it just looks odd and big ect. I am taking birth control for pcos which doesn’t help really and I am looking for anyone that knows what I can do to help reduce this problem, I have heard of surgery to reduce this and that would be great I would feel sooo much better but I do not have money for that at all.. would I be able to get this free on nhs if I went to my doctors or anything to help?! Please answers

hello basically I'm 16 and I have pcos which I was diagnosed about 3-4 weeks ago by my doctor, who then referred me to endocrinologist who then said he will put me on birth control but when I next went in (which was yesterday) another endocrinologist said no I'll put you on metformin to try. I started one 500mg metformin tablet yesterday and I do this for a month and possibly will see some changes?. Anyway I haven't ever had a period in my life but I'm 16 so he said it may be a delayed period so just wondering will metformin make me have a real period? Also I have large muscles will that go down with these tablets? If you have pcos aswell could I email you a few questions?. Thank you for your help
