  • Why is my cat eating more than normal?

    I thought when it was hot cats were meant to eat less?

    My cat seems to be eating a lot more than usual and drinking a lot more as well, other than that she seems totally normal.

    She has been spayed and I recently de-wormed her (as a precaution I do it every 4 months)

    Any ideas why she could be eating more?

    I really want to lose weight and have tried diets in the past but nothing seems to really work. (I tried weight watchers and didn't get any results)

  • What is the easiest wat to give my cat medicine?

    My 4 month old kitten is going to be given steroid pills for an auto immune infection in her ears,

    She is a very skittish cat and I am not sure of the best way to give her the pills.

    We have to give her 1 a day for up to 6 weeks.

  • Do you think my is sick?

    I have had my kitten for almost 8 weeks and she has always been quite shy and reserved, recently she has become really friendly and rubs around me whenever she sees me.

    She has also gone off of her kitten milk (but not her food) and is drinking a lot more water than usual, I can only guess that she is drinking more water because I am trying to change her to a predominately dry diet.

    I am still quite worried about her change in personality though.

    Can anyone help or give advice before I contact the vet?
