Why is it ether atheism or spirituality and never a agnostic side of the issue?

I am an agnostic and that means that I just admit that I don't know for sure how come there are more people that just admit they don't know istead of one saying "I'll go to the most beautiful heaven" and the other saying "I'll just rot in the ground"

Because it doesn't create controversy or arguments, and that's what most people are here for. Just like on the political boards, it's all CONS and LIBS shouting at each other mindlessly.

I'm with you though, my fellow agnostic! I find most people who are 100% sure that there either is or is NOT a god to be arrogant jerks. The fact is, there is simply no way to know.

Agnosticism is the only intellectually honest point of view on the subject. All other positions rely on either "gut" or faith for support, and neither one provides proof.

Well, I used to be agnostic. I really think that it is just the path to atheism sometimes, but not always. There are lots of agnostics out there. It’s in your head a little.

I’m an atheist, but I am not so arrogant as to say that I couldn’t be wrong. That doesn’t make me agnostic, I’m still an atheist and I hate to say it, but there either is an afterlife or their isn’t. There isn’t an in between.

I say I'm an atheist because it's just shorter than explaining exactly what I think. Plus it really doesn't materially alter the quality of the answer. I am actually a strong agnostic in general but an atheist with regard to the biblical description of god.

Atheists think Agnostics are wusses! They just don't like being outnumbered by theists on the yahoo boards so they temporarily ally themselves with the Agnostics.

However, in reality they secretly laugh at Agnostics!!! Seriously!

most people don't even know what an agnostic really is, and it's hard to argue with an agnostic, how can you tell someone who thinks "I don't have enough data to make an informed decision about the existence or non-existence of god", that they are really right or wrong, it's easier to disagree with atheists or theists.
