No audio on my 360.?

Question

I have had an Xbox 360 since august. It has been hooked up to my puny 20 inch TV in my room. I just got a new 42 inch Vizio LCD 1080p TV and hooked my 360 to it. I did not have an HDMI cable so I just used the component cables it came with. I hooked it up and got perfect video, yet no audio. I made sure that I had the audio inputs in correctly, the red with the red and white with the white. I still did not have have any audio. I need help figuring this out.

Before you go returning your T.V., get some used cables from Gamestop. They probably aren't too much money, but it might be the problem. You might've blown something. I don't know how you would've, exactly, but it's a possibility.

it's nothin wrong with the connection or else there wood be 4 red lights on i think it's the t.v check the receipt for it and see if u can return it
