Should I feel like the fifth wheel here? ?

I was going to spend the weekend in a fairly remote place with three friends...one couple and one other single woman. Now, the other single woman has invited an internet date along who may or may not show up. They've been exchanging e-mails, but have never met in person. I told her I'd rather not go, she's acting like there's no reason I should say that...is she right? Should I just go on this trip?

Yes I think you should go , I was in the same situation once & went any way & it was a wonderful time, besides if the internet guy don't show your friends will feel really bad, that you stayed behind for no real reason at all.

I would sounds like a fun trip besides if this guy turns out to be a jerk your friend will probably need friends around and he might also turn on to be alot of fun, so unless you had other intentions i think you should go

that would be awkward especially if there is two couples and they want to spend time alone. Even if they say it won't be it prolly will, maybe you should invite another friend so you aren't left out in things.

I would feel uncomfortable in this situation. I would forego this trip and hope for better luck next time.
