What do you eat on Christmas morning? ?

If it is really good, can I have the recipe?

We have fried dough with butter and jam!

Homemade biscuits (baked in an iron skillet) and gravy, pan fried patty sausage cooked very slow with a lid on the skillet so it stays moist and tender,I prefer the Jimmy Dean Hot style, and a sausage milk gravy made from flour, milk, salt and pepper and the left over sausage drippings.Maybe some homemade fig preserves and butter on a biscuit for a sweet bite afterwards. It's really hard to beat.Paula Dean would be jealous.

My kids are great because they love my pancakes. I always make the Jiffy Cornbread pancakes and use my cookie cutters to make them into candy canes, Christmas trees, etc. All the scrappings that are left over go to the baby because anything with syrup is great for him!

nothing.. though i prepare whatever comes to mind with the inventiveness i can muster.

today it could be roasted yams with molasses double baked then the innards blended with sour cream, cream cheese, honey and cheddar cheese... then the contents spooned back into the yam's shelled... then put back into the oven to double roast...

then serve with a topping of preservatives of their choice and cottage cheese.
(or syrups)

this is adorned with eggs with mushrooms, bacon and croissants.

real fattening.

dinner it will be roasted honey ham with my famous mashed potatoes.... :D
among other things.
