'GENE' daughters (BLOOD) who you haven't seen in 20 years ( and who expressed NO INTEREST in YOU... or step-'DAUGHTERS', who have shown NOTHING but LOVE and APPRECIATION for what you have done! (ie. accepting them as YOUR OWN!) ???

Whoever you feel has been a part of your life and treated you with love and respect. My mom passed 2 years ago, we were best friends. My oldest brother hasn't bothered with my mom for years. She never had a will and now that shes gone he wants to kick me out of her house and sell it for as much money as he can. The house was supposed to be mine, but with no will, I cant do anything about it...it's a disaster.I cant even grieve for my mother the right way, because I'm too worried about where my children and I are going to live. Make sure you have everything in writing and make sure your step daughters get what you wnt them to have...you'll never know when something will happen. It will save a lot of time and grief if you have everything figured out ahead of time. Good luck!
