madamsmall is right. Swift is a great writer. How about you read the story, come up with an answer of your own, then ask how it could be improved. People are happy to help, but doing it all for you isn't doing you any favours.
edit: My apologies; I've re-read the story and can't find the answer either. All I can suggest is asking your teacher to clarify the question.

This is a great short story, you should really read it.
