Will there be some sort of "community" room with a tv while I am in Air Force tech school?

Question

I leave for BMT October 11th. I will be going to Sheppard AFB for Tech School. I will be there during Christmas exodus as I don't feel like paying $200+ dollars to fly home when I just saw my family at BMT graduation. I'm assuming the majority of people will have gone home. So I'm wondering if there will be a TV that I could hook up an Xbox to or something along those lines so I won't be completely bored in the middle of nowhere Texas.

I spent 3 months at Sheppard but prior service when I went, the local area sucks. Even if there is a day room, and there was during my first tech school, it doesn't mean that other people that also opt to stay will be interested in watching you play Xbox all day. See about renting a TV or just buying a cheap little one you can keep in your wall locker, that what I did, pulled it out on the weekends.

If you stay over at tech school you won't have a lot of free time exactly. They'll have you doing details around the base. Then on the holidays maybe they'll send you off to someone's house to share the day with.
But the dorms have a day room with TV.

Do yourself a favor and drop the $200 for the ticket.  You'll thank yourself in the long run.
