In my community there are two centers that take infants. I know one charges $670 a month for full time. I don't know what the pother one charges. The next town over is even MORE expensive. Centers are more expensive than Family Childcare but usually less expensive than a nanny or sitter who comes to your home. The main thing is to find a program that is licensed and feels "right" to you. Remember, this center or person will be helping you raise your child! Good luck, quality infant care is hard to find and usually hard to afford!

A babysitter would be cheaper. Different centers are going to charge different amounts but the daycare center that my nephew is at charges $250 a week for babies 6 weeks to 2 years old.

It depends on where you are.
In Australia it can range anywhere from $60 a day to $150 a day. Not fun for those who live in areas with daycare shortages.
When I return to work I'll be hiring a nanny, it's considerably cheaper than daycare for me.

About 100 a week, give or take. But that varies. There are some that charge on a daily basis and some that charge you for Monday-Friday no matter what.
