I wear nylon stockings every day, with suspenders [garters in USA-speak.] Usually, I wear a girdle and sometimes a suspender belt.

Thigh high hold-ups are really uncomfortable and leave lines around my thighs, from the elastic edge. They seem to cut off the circulation and cause some swelling at my ankles. Proper nylons are smooth and safe, and my husband and I both enjoy the knowledge that I am in suspenders.

Pantyhose are just plain unhygienic, in my opinion. I used to get thrush infections whenever I wore them in the past. I never wear them....Show more

I actually prefer nylons to the cheap thigh highs sold in the grocery store that cling to your thigh, which are very uncomfortable and aren't attractive, in my opinion. Nylons aren't uncomfortable, per se, but they are a pain to deal with in the restroom, and there's nothing worse than snagging them really bad and not having an extra pair right as you get out of the car on your way into the office. I guess if I had to pick the most comfortable type, I'd go with the nice thigh highs worn with a garter belt. They're the least difficult to wear, and you still feel a bit sexy in them....Show more
