Isn't it funny that Christians, lacking a good science background, think C4 explodes when set on fire?

FYI, it just burns. The stuff is extremely chemically stable.

Apparently they don't even watch Mythbusters, which covered this.

So basically because, maybe, one Christian thought that or a couple, that means that we ALL think that? Dude, what are we, five?
And as a side bar, the science is on our side because we actually know what we're talking about

If Christians are bad at chemistry... then why are there militant fundamental Christian groups in Arkansas, Missouri, West Virginia, etc?

And C4 only explodes if it is lit on fire and THEN thrown against a surface.
also, it needs a charge and then pressure..

I think the myth stems from a "better to be safe than sorry" mentality. While it might not be the most scientific point-of-view I don't see how this is uniquely "Christian", or even bad thinking.

Are you saying that non-Christians lacking a good science background would be shielded by their non-Christianness. because that is so dumb I can hardly accept that an adult wouldn't recoil from such nonsense.
