Why does my cat go to the bathroom on my couch?

My girlfriend's cat poops on my couch. I have done everything I can think of to stop this. Sprayed it with water, used pepper spray in it's eyes, tazed it...to no avail. I feel like it's mad at me. To get back at it, I want to poop in IT'S litter box, and video tape it trying to bury that. I could put it on You Tube. Thoughts on this rancid beast?

Cats don't think like that! you have to make sure that you have properly cleaned where it's been doing this,is the litter tray cleaned regularly,poo removed as soon as it's in there? Spraying it with water will do no good whatsoever.I certainly hope you have not put spray in its eyes.
