I agree with the double sided tape idea... You could also put a handful of coins into a tin can and shake it every time you see her getting on the couch. Cats hate that sound and will run away. There's a chance she's acting out because she's jealous of the kittens. If you start paying attention to her like before she had kittens she might stop what she's doing.

I too have two leather couches (forget what I paid)...... Spraying her with water has no way teaching her what it is you want her to do..... Take her to a NO KILL cattery together with all her kittens, if that's your intention. Personally I'd rather find out what started her peeing on the couch in the first place. Infection etc. Kitty litter box not cleaned out and disinfected etc..Try covering the couch with aluminum foil...cats hate the feel. Try keeping mother and kittens in a bathroom with her liter and bedding, at least for 24 hours, or call your vet and get more suggestion.

i chanced on that buying a huge tallish wicker basket..the form with a lid that would additionally be used for storage is an exceedingly great answer as they opt to scratch the basket. I finally end up buying a clean one consistent with annum, in spite of the undeniable fact that this is worth it...it is likewise obtainable for storing throw rugs and greater pillows! My cats additionally like napping on genuine of the basket as this is greater than the settee and cats elect to upward push up a sprint greater each each now and then.

Cats hate the smell of vinegar, so put some of that on a cloth and lay it on the couch. It worked for me, I had the same problem (:
