My cat uses the bathroom under the couch?
I know it's said cats won't stop using the litter box for no reason, but I think she's the exception. We have another cat, but he stays outside. I clean the box out everyday, but she still goes under the couch. What do I do? I'm really beginning to lose my patience.
Everytime she goes under there, I move it away and scrub it up, even spray under there.

a cat only pees other places cause of these reasons the cat pan dirty someone or thing has scared it and also something new has come between that cat eg new cat animal baby place onion peel or orange peel under couch nothing will stop a cat peeing in the home don't matter what you put down to stop it

Go out and buy a covered litter tray - she may be going under the couch because it feels dark, secluded and safe. If you don't have money to buy a covered litter tray, then get a big cardboard box and put it upside down over your open litter tray (obviously cut a hole so she can get in and out!).
Other things to try: Make sure the litter tray is not near her food, because that sometimes puts them off. And is in a place where she can use it in peace ie not the middle of a room or the hallway.
Maybe you're cleaning it out too regularly, so she's not getting used to her scent being in it?
Failing all that, I would move the couch and put the litter tray where the couch was. If she starts going in it straight away, then leave it there for a few days until she gets used to using it, then move it back to a more practical location.
Hope that helps, stay patient! If it persists take her to the vets, she might have kidney problems or be stressed.

Take your cat to the vet and have it checked for a urinary tract infection or cystitis. The main reason that a cat will start urinating inappropriately is due to a medical problem. They can develop behavioral problem as well but start with the medical first to see if that fixes the problem. If that doesn't work then find a vet that specializes in cat behavior problems and talk them about what going on with your cat. Good Luck

she maybe acting out anger.. Did someone do something to the cat? When cats start acting out then they ususally want to leave.. Ask your self this? Who is normally sitting on the couch in the same spot the cat poops? Whom ever sits in that frequent spot is the reason why the cat is pooping, that cat may not like the person that sits there...
