What do you think of this paragraph from the Urantia Book?
"No thing is new to God, and no cosmic event ever comes as a surprise; he inhabits the circle of eternity. He is without beginning or end of days. To God there is no past, present, or future; all time is present at any given moment. He is the great and only I AM."

Hi Ratia, I've been pondering this throughout the day.
I like the paragraph. I like this part also...."The Universe Sovereigns may engage in adventure; the Constellation Fathers may experiment; the system heads may practice; but the Universal Father sees the end from the beginning, and his divine plan and eternal purpose actually embrace and comprehend all the experiments and all the adventures of all his subordinates in every world, system, and constellation in every universe of his vast domains."
For me it's beautiful, reminds me that we get to have fun in our learning. My thoughts wandered over to a gem I recalled from Seth. "You form your past and your future in this present moment of your own knowing and your own being."
And somehow I saw just a glimmer of sameness there. Forgive me if I've wandered off topic....but I enjoyed this question and the quest of the day.....to somehow find personal meaning here.
i wonder often how reliable the Urantia is. it totally contradicts the Adam and Eve story compared to Genesis.
one thing is understood, the I AM of Moses may not be Heavenly Father, or it may have been Jesus who claimed to be I am . but never claimed to be God teh Father. although he is both mighty and god, he still said that only God is good. and if one reads John 17, jesus himself prays for his people of faith to become "one" with him as he is one with God. now we are not gods nor are we jesus, so there is soemthing "wrong" with the trinity doctrine. if one cannot see it in the usage of the meaning of Oneness in jesus own prayer then maybe if everyone took a better looked a john 8:42, while comparing it with john 10:30. and if that still is not enough check out rev 3:21 and 21:7. kjv. i think the LDS church stands truest for calling the trinity doctrine an "imagination of man".
i think Jesus is the Great I am of the burning bush. but i also know the godhead invites all the sons of God to sit on thrones of glory and power. just like Jesus overcame all things, the invitation is given to us likewise. well? those that become worthy and are faithful. Jesus himself said i give unto you power, to become sons of God. not just saints nor just fellow servants with the saints. at least one verse in the old testament hints that moses saw an angel in the burning bush. guess what, it was probably Jesus. its like saying the bible is the word of God and jesus is the word of God but the bible is not Jesus.
In universal time everything happens as is, it all exists within the framework of the universe, all these things happen as part of the existence. It is we humans that measure time and put things as being past or future. Something quite common with us is that we rarely are 'present' as we are always thinking of what we did yesterday and what we'll do tomorrow. So, our view is somewhat skewed, because we are looking in front of us and behind us, rather than looking at the whole. The perspective of God is seeing the whole, seeing it all as one big tableaux unfolding.
