Some of the Boardwalk is timeshare but most of it is a regular hotel. It is mainly a restaurant area. Yacht and Beach Club resorts are immediately across the lake from the Boardwalk. If you are looking to stay at Deluxe resort in the EPCOT area, I would choose the Yacht or Beach Club over Boardwalk as they have a really cool pool complex called Storm-Along Bay. EPCOT is about a 5 minute walk or boat ride and Hollywood Studios is 10 minutes. The Swan and Dolphin (located on Disney property but not technically Disney resorts as the buildings are owned and run by a hotel group) resorts are also about 5 minutes away....Show more
