I got my belly button pierced about 8 months ago. It's still has milky/yellow puss coming out of it at least daily. Creating 'crusties.' I have tried saline solution before and that didn't really help. It becomes iritated when it naturaly shifts around because of the crusties. Idk why its like that or what to do. And if i change it or touch it too much (ik i shouldn't) it starts to hurt.

Cynthia obviously has zero experience with piercings. If the metal in your piercing starts to rust, you have a serious problem. Implant grade titanium or stainless steel will not rust, and that's the only thing you should have been pierced with. Rubbing alcohol should NEVER be used on a healing piercing. It's too harsh, damages healing tissues, and prolongs healing. Removing the jewelry is also a crappy idea.
Navel piercings take 6-12 months to fully heal, so it's not uncommon that yours is still healing after 8 months. Light yellow, clear, or white discharge is called lymph, it's completely normal and does NOT mean it's infected. But you need to be diligent with cleaning the crusties off, all it's doing is tearing up the inside of your piercing when the jewelry moves and increasing your healing time.
You need to stop changing the jewelry. You need to stop touching the piercing. You also need to start doing sea salt soaks twice daily. Soaking the piercing is infinitely better than just spraying it with a saline solution - soaking it allows it to draw out the lymph, crust, and other crud from the piercing while loosening the hardened crusties so they can be cleaned away. Mix 1/4 teaspoon of non-iodized sea salt with 8 ounces of WARM water. Put the solution in a cup, invert it on the piercing, and let it soak for 5-10 minutes twice daily. Gently clean off the crusties with clean hands after the soak.
Your piercing is infected. You need to clean it thoroughly with rubbing alcohol and you might need to take out your piercing for while. If your piercing is metal and it rusts then it could cause serious damage to your body possibly poisoning you.
