If I do a six year contract with the army, and I do not wish to continue, I will get a regular discharge from the army?

When you finish your enlistment, you receive an Honorable Discharge if you choose not to or are otherwise unable to reenlist.

There are so many other opportunities at the rest of society. Consider a temporary employment agency.

I'm not familiar with the details of army contracts but in general if you break any contract there is a price to be paid. That's the whole point of a contract. So, I think that it would be very unlikely that you would get a regular discharge if you broke the terms of your contract.
