Worst pet peeve?

Name the one thing that people do to get under your skin. If you have many share what you like. I want to know what really pisses people off and why.

Not being acknowledged OR THANKED for a kind gesture (holding a door, waving someone through in your car, etc).

Drivers who "hang out" in the left lane of traffic (this is meant for passing people! Crap or get off the pot. Your job is not to keep people from breaking the speed limit if they see fit).

People who fart in a public place and leave the area.

Drivers who continue to come through an intersection at the end of a yellow only to end up blocking the intersection. Your time was obviously important to you. What about the people that cannot move now because you are blocking them? Isn't their time important too?

People who are passive-agressive!!!! Passive-agressive people are the scourge of the Earth, you know them, they are:

    * The driver that goes slow and then speeds up when you pass them.

    * The person who gives you a left-handed compliment.

    * The person who reacts to you telling them about something stressful by saying something to make it worse.

    * The person who pushes their legs against your airplane seat so you can't recline and then pretends that they are not.

    * The person who calls you by accident and sits there silently while you say "hello, hello" and they don't apologize or say it was a wrong number just leave you hanging there! (well maybe that's not passive agressive but I STILL HATE IT)

    * The boss that doesn't complain about anything you do until your salary review.

    * The person who saw you start crossing the street about 1/2 mile ago but they refuse to slow down even a little.

    * Tailgators who pretend they're going to go around you.

    * The person behind you in the grocery line who sighs loudly when you use a check but then smiles or looks away when you make eye contact.

    * The person who you see every day and say hi to but then suddenly one day they put up nasty sign complaining about something you have done that they COULD HAVE EASILY mentioned the last 200 times you saw them.

    COWARDS! GROW A SPINE!

    The most annoying thing:

People who use those "two way" phones that sound like a walkie talkie. Now, not only do we have to listen to one side of other peoples conversations, we have to hear the other side too, with an annoying "pssssst-beep" in between. And since they don't hold it to their ear, they YELL into it.

    Bad typing on this site.

The way people have forgotten how to use a stop sign.

Men (and some women) who pierce themselves into a sieve. Espically the ones with the gradual process that makes the hole HUGE in the ear. EEWWW.

Wow!!! Everyone else has said it all...well, almost. My worst pet peeve is when people lie to you or about you and when you confront them they try to twist it around, which is lying AGAIN!! Also, when someone is trying to enhance a story and you know the real truth....gosh, not just a liar but stupid, too!!

    All of the above.

    Plus:

People who don't use turn signals.

People who wait until the very last second to get into the exit lane.

People who are loud at movies.

People who act like their baby-stoller allows them to "own" the sidewalk.

People who jump in front of you on line.

People who try to spare change, but only grunt and gesture toward your pocket.

    There's more. There's always more.

Lazy typing. I hate it when people shorten words to single letters, ect as if they're texting when they're actually writing an e-mail or a note. It's annoying, and seems juvenile. Writing this way makes people seem far less intelligent than they probably really are.

People who don't know the difference between "loose" and "lose", that use "could of" instead of "could have" and refuse to use punctuation and capital letters on this site.

I also cannot stand people who substitute emotion for argument in a discussion or debate.

1- When people say 'ain't' or use English in the wrong way. It makes them sound less educated than they really are.

2- When people swear. I really don't know the point of swearing and it's sounds very unattractive.

TVs and/or DVD players in cars!!!

The only thing worse is people who justify them by saying "We need them for kids and road trips." Waaa waa waaahhhh. I used to teach preschool, 20 to 30 3-4yr olds 8hours at a time. You don't have my sympathy! Raise your own kids and don't rely on TV!!!

    1. People that blow their nose at the dinner table, especially in a restaurant.

    2. People on welfare that drive nice cars.

    3. People who call other people, "those people."

    4. Hypocrites.

Source(s): That's just a few. The first two really bother me.
