If copying dvd movies is illegal, then what about tv shows that are on dvd? We watch them on tv anyway?

We even record them off of tv as well. What are the legal issues behind that?

    companies that sell and distribute the dvds of old TV series' pay royalties to the production company that created them. That's why they are distributable.

    Watching is so different from copying, Phoros !

    ...U can watch a show, without copying it - and thus not be infringing on any of the copyrights involved !
