Do hearing aids count as fashion accessories?
My question pertains to the fact that you can get hearing aids in a multitude of colors; not to mention the fact that you can get the molds (the part of the aid that fits into the outer ear and into the ear canal) done in swirls of colors, or just about any outrageous color you can think of! I have a pair that has blue and white swirls; yet people don't notice them all that much. I used to hide them when I was younger, wanting to fit in with the "normal" crowd, but now I don't care if people notice. I'm hearing impaired, but I've overcome it by a wide margin. So do they count as accessories, like earrings and necklaces and such?

If you feel it is a fashion accessory then it is. I think anything can be a fashion accessory. I remember when having hordes of rubber bands on your wrist was in fashion. Idiots wearing their pants around their ankles is still in fashion.
Really fashion is what you make of it. You take normal, every day things and you spin them to your liking. If you have the swirls on your hearing aid, try wearing a tie-dyed shirt to accentuate them.

I say sure why not, I would, People now-a-days where all kinds of things as a fashion accessory, and if Nelly and all them other rappers can where alluminum foil teeth, I think your hearing aid counts as a fashion accessory. Beside, I think hearing aids are way cooler then some of the things people wear now, Come on, what's with the blue, purplr,green hair? and the Gold and Silver Teeth?
But for real I say yeah, A hearing aid definitly counts as a fashion accessory, especially if they come in all those different colors and styles, that is definitly an accessory more so than an hearing aid.
