What do you do to relax?
I've had a stressful couple of days, and am headed out the door for a meeting which will be the coup de gras. What should I do when I get back to blow off steam?

Make a drink or pour a glass of wine. Wash off makeup and change into some comfy lounge clothes. Then watch some tv, play online, or read a magazine. Don't answer the phone, no taking care of housework, or anything like that. Maybe soak in the tub, do a facial or paint your nails. It's just time for you. I usually try to hit the sack a little early when I do this. The next day I am usually pretty refreshed.

I prefer the beach or the mountains, but some sauna or jacuzzi time couldn't hurt either. A good workout in the gym or a long walk is also good. Winding down with a glass of wine and some smooth jazz music is nice. Then there is the candle lit, hot bath with or without a glass of wine. A slow, deep tissue massage is great too. Have a pet? Stroking it's fur has been found to have very soothing qualities. I hope that one or some of these suggestions can be of use to you in your relaxation.

I would listen to a song that expresses how I feel, angry, sad, used, whatever. I would blast it all the way home just to get out all my angries. Maybe you should pick up a good meal from your fav restaurant and a good comedy or your favorite movie from the movie store and make the rest of the night YOUR night. If I'm really strung out, though, I like to sit at the beach and watch the waves and look out at the horizon. Before I lived near the ocean, I had a lake that I liked to visit and I would lay on the dock and look at the stars and just listen to nature. I hope this will help.

Meditate, Deep breathing, soothing music, Incense, then a nice bath, or a walk in nature somewhere if possible. Keep telling yourself that you did well regardless of the outcome and pat yourself on the back. Talk about your situation with an understanding Friend. If all else fails scream into a pillow and have a night cap. good luck.

soak in a nice hot bubble bath with some relaxing slow music playing for awhile. then get out anf put some comfortable clothing on and lay back, watch a good movie or tv show and just don't think about problems or what your doing tomorrow or anything like that. Just get it all off your mind awhile. It helps. trust me.
if you live alone, try putting a please do not disturb sign on the door and unplug the telephone cause if it's like my house, you'll never get real piece and quiet. Just a tip. hope it works. Good luck girl!

Walking helps me blow off steam if the weather is nice. Other ways is to put your headphones on, play your favorite music, close your eyes, and relax.
The best thing is to go have a massage but unless you live near one its kinda hard.

A good way to relax is drink some lotus tea while taking a nice hot bubble bath and listening to some meditation music.

take the phone off the hook, turn off your cell, get some candles, soft music and take a long hot bath! This will relax your muscles and ease your tension. Plus no one can bug u so it's like a personal mini vacation! This always works for me.

When I'm stressed, I go to the spa, but if you can't get to a spa, trying going in a hot tub with soothing music. Or if none of these are possible, try using a heating pad and just resting or sleeping.

I either listen to some music with the lights dimmed or take a long, hot, bubbly bath with all the lights out and just candles burning.

Surf in the Internet,cook, I Love to take baths with aromatherapy shower gels, especially those that smell like tropical fruits the smell of the exotic fruits is excellent to get you relax.
