will christianity be illegal in america soon?
What about
Matthew 24:9-Then shall they deliver you up to be afflicted, and shall kill you: and you shall be hated of all nations for my name's sake.
Revelation 2:10 Beholdthe devil shall cast some of you in prison, that you may be tried; and you shall have tribulation ten days: be thou faithful unto death, and I will give you the crown of life.
If this doesn't sound as though some day christianity will be illegal, what would you call it?

Great question, and the answer is that its already illegal in some forms. You can't display Christian displays on government property now as we hear about every Christmas.
But here is the good news. Chritianity is a belief and no one can make a law to take your beliefs away from you. You may be persucuted for your belief but they can't change you mind unless you let them.

It has been illegal for years. People are just starting to realize it now. And for those who want religion out of government completely, they are foolish. Plain and simple. The equal rights movement of the 60 s was led by the "Reverend Dr. Martin Luther King". Should we get rid of these great strides in equality? Our government is based on what James Madison used as a basis for a three part government. It comes from Isaiah 33:22 "The Lord our God is our Judge, our Lawgiver, and our King" (Judicial, Legislative, and Executive branches. We have 12 people on a jury because there were 12 judges in the OT, one for each of the 12 tribes of Israel. The American revolution was known in Britain as the "Presbyterian Rebellion". Facts such as these, and hundreds more are no longer taught in schools. Why? Because Christianity WAS outlawed years ago. It started in 1947 with the "Everson" decision by the Supreme Court that was stacked with FDR nominees. From there we went downhill. We will crash soon. Just like the Romans 2000 years ago, the world today is trying to BURY Jesus. And the outcome will also be as before. It will FAIL!

Every other religion (including non-religion) was essentially outlawed for hundreds of years.
Now that everyone is getting a level-playing field, Christians are screaming bloodly murder.
It will never, nor should it ever be, illegal for anyone to practice their faith (or lack thereof) in one's home or one's Church.
Yes, the government and public actions by the Government are becoming more secular. However, the purpose is inclusive, not exclusive. This tread will never apply to one's private worship, however.
Just because something is "traditional" doesn't mean it deserves to be. Otherwise, many of our country's social ills would still be present (racism, slavery, suppression of women's right to vote, etc - all supported by Christian scripture at some point of time).

No, it will not be. And Christianity is not being persecuted either. There was a poster who talked about Christian displays on government property, but what he failed to mention is that Jewish, Hindu, Wiccan, Santorian, Islamic, and all other forms of religious displays are prohibited on government properties, sometimes, but not always. For example, if the government allows groups to meet in a open air theater in a public park, they have to allow churches to meet there as well. The church can bring all the religious symbols they want, set them up for the service, and take them with them when they go.
What many right-wing Christians are looking for is not justice or equality, but culture dominance. They don't want Christianity to be treated the same as other religions, they want it to receive favorable treatment. This has historically hurt both the church and the state.
As a Christian, all I want is a level playing field, and we have that in the US now.

No. We allow people to worship as they see fit, and to make Christianity illegal would be a violation of the "separation of church and state" idea. Banning one religion would mean we'd have to ban them all out of fairness.....though that would tip the scales in favor of those who don't follow any religion. In short, it would be a government move to show favor for one religion over another, and the idea is to keep religion out of policy-making.
And for those who might gripe about the lack of Christian holiday displays, I see even fewer Muslim, Buddhist, etc. displays. Of course, perhaps that's related to the market. Anyway, regarding policies.....some might argue that our whole system is based on Christian beliefs, but I think a lot of that is coincidence. You should always consider an idea long before you consider its source. Just because you treat others with respect while hoping for reciprocal treatment doesn't mean you did because of the Christian "do unto others....." idea - the idea just makes sense. The source is irrelevant.

No, it's not a great question. It's a very stupid question. We not only have a First Amendment right to freedom of religion, we have a country which has at least a traditional Christian majority. Even if that is no longer true statistically, it is certainly true enough to protect your fundamental rights. Where did you get the idea anyone could make it illegal?

Christianity may not necessarily become illegal but until the separation of church and state is withdrawn, Christianity will soon (within the next 30 - 50 years) become a secondary religion to Islam. You will notice that in most Muslim countries the church and state are as one, the word of the Koran is the word of law.
If non-Christians choose to live / work in christian countries then they have to abide by the christian values of that country, as we would be expected (and often enforced) to do.

Christaians control the whole government. There is a born-again christian in the White House. Nearly every single elected representative is christian. The majority of the Supreme Court is Christian. Only a handful of governors have ever been non-christian. Every president that this country has ever had in its entire history has been christian. The only federal holidays which are religious are christian. Christians even control our national science policies!
Is this some sort of new christian joke you are telling? Because I don't get it.

If we as Christians do not unite, then we will lose more and more of our freedoms.Prayer to GOD is the best possible thing we can do as Christians. GOD and ONE man is the MAJORITY!
It is a funny thing how non-Christians want to wave the issue of "Separation of Church and State" in the Christians face. However, if they they weren't so ignorant of our Constitution they would know that no where in it does it imply or state separation of church and state. That phrase was written by Thomas Jefferson in a letter completely separate of our Constitution. What it does say is that Congress cannot institute a religion and force that one religion down our throat like England was doing to America prior to our revolution. They were stating in essence that Congress could not force one church on its people.
I feel we must pray fervently and steadfastly to the one true and living GOD and put our trust in him!

It depends on you. If you permit it.
Freedom to worship is what made this Catholic-Protestant-Jew country great. People forget that people came here to be free from religious oppression. The idea of banning religion is against the very foundation of the American Constitution.
Atheists have been successful getting religious things out of many places. But People will wise up and unmask those atheist hipocrits soon.

A reasonable fear.
Christianity was loosing allot of ground for a long time as Christians meekly allowed the liberal left to define political correctness and the feminist to define a women's rights to their bodies,
But , not to worry , Christianity is on it's way back, this thing as taken a while to turn around but the fight is under way with agencies like the UCLJ, Christian Rights ministry, Alliance defense fund, and many others we will hold on to what we have and even make gains into regaining our rights.
This move in the Christian legal community is being under-girded by a resurgence in the christian community,
