What else besides jelly can you put on a peanut butter sandwich and still have it be edible?

My wife puts bannanas with her peanut butter sandwich and say's its really good but it just sounds disgusting. Has anyone tried some other thing and had it turn out to be good?

Yeah, actually PB and banana sandwiches are good. Also, PB and butter sandwiches, for those of us who have clogged arteries, are good as well. Oh, and if you have some Nutella, thats good with PB, and if you feel like going straight up nuts, like out of your mind crazy, you could go wtih the PB, Nutella, and Fluff sandwich. Be careful with that one, though, as it may make it difficult to drive an automobile or operate machinery. Or just PB and Fluff. I'm going to go have one of those right now. Enjoy, and trust me, they're all good!

Banana and peanut butter sandwiches are actually very popular with a lot of people that I know. Maybe you should try and give it a shot?

Some other things that I've heard go well with peanut butter in a PB&J (minus the J) are honey and granola.

If those don't work... well, substitute jam for jelly. Same concept, same great taste.

Marshmallow Fluff and Peanut Butter are great together. It's called a Fluffernutter and it's a very popular sandwich in New England.

My gran used to make Peanut Butter & Butter sandwiches, sprinkled lightly with a teeny weeny pinch of sugar.

It's basically peanut butter on one side of the bread, and butter on the other.

We'd make a nice, piping cup of tea with milk, and dip the sandwiches inside the tea as kids (when we were teething and everything.).

I still eat that sometimes, it brings back lots of good ol' memories and it does taste pretty good.

Make sure you dip it once and fast and not leave it till it's soggy.

Try it, it's great on a rainy, chilly night.

I also like bananas and peanut butter. But another favorite is to add peanuts on my peanut butter sandwich. Sure crunchy.

Peanut Butter and a thick slice of bologna is good. Don't knock the wife's recipe until you've tried it; it's good too!
