How could anyone be this STUPID????

wow... I just can't even imagine the level of stupidity it would take to let a stranger in the house to fondle you. And what a sicko to think of doing that... yikes... I sometimes think Darwin's theory should be enforced by someone... women like that should not breed.

I think these women were simply very trusting and maybe easily led. They probably believed that no-one would actually have the nerve to impersonate a doctor and go around doors in this way-especially since he is being seen by many and, as is perfectly demonstrated in this story, is likely to be caught! Its also possible that he was very convincing and manipulative in his manner-many people find it difficult to say no, especially when there is no-one there to back them up, which is why so often people are conned into buying things they dont want through door to door sales people. Whilst this may have been a moment of poor judgement on behalf of these ladies, I think they deserve credit for contacting the police when they realised they had been abused-many women would be too ashamed at being called stupid and believe that they may be part to blame. Also how many other doors do you think he visited where the women were a bit more suspicious and he was refused entry? I doubt he 'struck gold' within his first couple of attempts at this-why did no-one else call the police to report him? It is all fair and well to cast judgement upon others whos actions may contradict what we believe ourselves as likely to do in a similar situation, but MANY of the worst crimes take place right under our noses and we dont even realise because we dont expect that people would have the nerve to do such a thing. Its a shame that these womens' faith in good human intentions has now been ruined by this pervert.

Yeah it was stupid for the women to even think a really doctor would go door to door and offer breast exams, but all people can be stupid at times think about the guy that was going around a military base while the soldiers were deployed telling families that their soldiers had been killed.

As a scientific experiment, I went door to door in my area, soliciting women to submit to a free breast exam. I had a nifty badge made up and I wore a lab coat and everything. It was a very interesting scientific experiment, don't you think? If you think so, PLEASE tell the cops that's what it was! I've only got five minutes left on the computer, and I've made my only phone call!

Seriously, it is pretty dumb, but no dumber than the folks who fall for these ridiculous e-mail scams---Just more "personal" an effect.

"Oh, it's not a scam, see. The way it works is... You give 'em ALL your credit card numbers, and if one of 'em's lucky, they send you a prize!"

If you are talking about the women who accepted the exam, and didn't ask for credentials. Apparently yes.

If you are talking about the guy, I think he was quite smart, maybe a little stupid for getting cought and not investigating the procedure.

Oh my gosh, those women were so stupid to let a random old guy come into their homes, and to let him touch them! I only let female doctors do breast exams for me anyway, and whenever I do see a male doctor, a female nurse is in the room. Why didn't they wonder why a female nurse wasn't present?

Kind of makes you wonder how humanity has progressed even THIS far with people like THAT in it, eh? I am amazed on a daily basis by so very many STUNNING examples...

People hear the word "FREE" and put their brains up their ***. No matter how much they warn of scams, some fool will fall for it.
