Seeing as your "question" is a bit opinionated and you seem to have some upset and confusions regarding money, I will attempt to correct some of your accusations for the benefit of the "masses", at least.

Opinions may or may not be based on fact.

    Here are some facts.

It does not cost any money to become a Scientologist. You can read basic book from the local library and use and apply Scientology in your life.

A persons I.Q.is not a factor since despite the fixed theories of "psychology" I.Q. can be improved and raised significantly through the use of Scientology. (countless proven and tested examples of this fact exist)

It is true that Scientology has various fixed donations for it's services. The amount depends only on the cost to deliver them and support the specific Church or Mission that is doing so.

The reason for this unusual financial set up for a Church is that Scientology is a new religion, only 55 years old. It does not have hundreds of years of accumulated wealth and property like other religions. It must operate and establish itself in the world according to the economics of today's society.

It selected the donation system it has as it's primary method of funding itself because it is the most equitable (fair) method.

Those who want the training and individual professional spiritual councelling should be the ones who contribute most to maintain the facilities that provide it.

Clearing unwanted factors from your mind which definitely raises I.Q. can be done at almost no cost through Dianetics. Infact if you read the book," Dianetics The Modern Science of Mental Health " it explains how to do it.

The Church provides very inexpensive Seminars and Basic Courses as well as free services, to train individuals in this technique, and other self improvement knowledge, which are simple to learn. This is something you can then also help another with and receive similar help in return, if you choose to.

Many Churches will also provide free Dianetic therapy to individuals in need of help.

As to government benefits: Church and State are constitutionally seperate in most western countries. The goverments do not fund religions and religions do not fund governments.

Their press is a ways worse than that of the Masons. The church has club dues that are approximately 3000.00 for lifetime, or 450.00 a year, except it went up lower back. to easily perform a little introductory courses- that certainly does not cost plenty. in an attempt to get into it, does not cost plenty. yet to pass a ways in it- then it may run to important greenbacks. As in 1000's of 1000's of greenbacks the rationalization the church gets a super type of undesirable press is their scientific care of contributors and harassment of critics. observe to Fabio: the Church of Scientology does have club dues. they're spoke of as IAS dues. Any reg will inform you that your IAS dues are meant to be paid up, to boot to the direction and auditing costs. How ought to you no longer understand that?

I'm not sure IQ is necessarily the thing to use here, but then I don't know how to measure someone's gullibility quotient.

No maximum IQ, just a minimum bank balance.
